Nokia Lumia 900 Gets a Pre-order page for Smart Telecom and a Release Date in Retail Shops

At long last, after a few weeks of silence, Smart Telecom finally unveils the Pre-order page of Nokia's Windows Phone flagship, the Lumia 900. It was announced late April that the phone together with the Nokia Lumia 610 will be offered exclusively by Smart, now its becoming more of a reality than a mere buzz.

The pre-order webpage though was more of a reservation page because it didn't mention anything about Plan packages or its exact day availability date, only that its coming in June. Also, the black variant was the only color available on the grid so you have no other option.

Meanwhile, Nokia Philippines announced the availability of the unlocked units of the phone via their official Twitter and Facebook page. The phone will start selling this weekend, June 2 in select Nokia Stores and retail shops across the country.

The Nokia Lumia 900 is an award winning Windows Phone that bested the rest of the competition by taking the Best Smartphone plum in CES 2012. Among its features includes a 4.3 inch ClearBlack AMOLED display, a 1.4Ghz single processor, a primary 8MP Carl Zeiss optics with a large aperture for improved performance in low light conditions and wide angle focal length for capturing full 16:9 images, a front-facing secondary camera for video calls, high battery capacity among the rest of Nokia exclusive services.

Nokia 808 PureView? Nokia Philippines Teases with a Weekend Announcement!

"Something BIG is coming this weekend. What do you think it is, Nokianatics?" This is the phrase with an inset image that Nokia Philippines posted this morning via their official Twitter and Facebook client raising speculations on what it might be.

Baffling, I would say, Nokia Philippines made it sure that their announcement will leave readers bemuse at the same time excited. From the looks of it, the image seems to signify color variants of the Nokia Lumia 900, the Cyan, White, Black and Magenta while it also looks like a by-product of the most powerful cameraphone in the market, the Nokia 808 PureView, being taken with precision and quality.

Well, if its indeed, Nokia Lumia 900, then I think its about time that Nokia Philippines gave it a release date. The phone had already undergone a successful launching event so its high time for it to be available to public.

On the other hand, if its the Nokia 808 PureView, then I think its about time for me to start accruing funds, my blog needs a new and better shooter and a new inspiration.

Since its going to be unveiled this weekend and I'm just so happen to be somewhere in Manila by then, I might be able to witness the event up close as it unfolds. Very excited here, no wait, make that 808-900x excited! Stay tuned! ;D

Nokia 900's Official Philippine Price!

Launched during the Lumianation event at the BHS Central Amphitheater, Bonifacio Global City, Nokia's flagship Windows Phone finally got its official Philippine price, PhP27,900.00 ($643) unlocked, but currently being sold only in underground retail shops on limited stocks with a marked up price.

You can't buy the Lumia 900 yet even in Nokia Flagship Stores so the stocks available in the aforementioned shops were imported from China or Hongkong with an added shipping cost to compensate. At the moment, its being sold within the PhP30,000 ($690) range from these suppliers.

On the other hand, Smart Communications Inc. announce its exclusive offering for the phone but even now they were silent about its availability. Well, the a huge demand of the phone worldwide definitely cause the delay but hopefully Nokia was doing something about it. A phone with a stellar and award winning hardware, software and specs must not be kept hidden from public consumption, its a huge marketing mistake.

The Nokia Lumia 900 features a 4.3 inch ClearBlack AMOLED display, a primary 8MP Carl Zeiss optics with a large aperture for improved performance in low light conditions and wide angle focal length for capturing full 16:9 images, a front-facing secondary camera for video calls, high battery capacity among the rest of Nokia exclusive services.

Make things happen Nokia, release the Lumia 900 already!

Ozamis City? Hotel? Try GV Hotel

Looking for a place to stay in Ozamis City, Misamis Occidental, Philippines, then your on the right spot, I got another place to share that offers affordable, comfortable and safe dwelling stead, along downtown Port Road, Ozamis City, just in front of the Gaisano Mall Southwing, the GV Hotel.

GV is a prominent and growing hotel chain in the Visayas and Mindanao that provides practical accommodations for people on a budget.

Hit?

The place is very decent, its very accessible and best of all, affordable with clean rooms available for as low as Php400 per day, a single Standard/Regular room type, PhP450 per day for a single Deluxe room, PhP550 per day for a twin or matrimonial Economy/Budget rooms, PhP590 per day for a twin or matrimonial Standard/Regular room type, PhP680 per day for a twin or matrimonial Deluxe rooms, and Php1150 for a Deluxe room with ref good for 4 person. Extremely affordable offers here.

All rooms are air-conditioned, has cable TV, personal comfort rooms, etc., most importantly clean linens and bedsheets.

Misses?

Front desk area or the main lobby isn't very inviting, it looks ordinary and e. The hallway and room set-up was also confusing since it has several intersections that you'll get confuse with the room numbering system and has no proper signage's among others.

The single standard rooms were a bit smallish compared to others, I believe the room's size was somewhere near 10 square meters including the comfort room. It has no telephone per room and WIFI.

Well, if you are to weigh the hit and misses, I would say the advantages still prevails, there is no exchange to the service and comfort you'll enjoy in staying at the hotel. I might have stayed here once but it was a satisfying experience that is why I gave it my seal of approval.

Blob, The One and Only Blogger App for Symbian

Just like the rest of the Symbian smartphone using bloggers around the world, Blob, is an answered prayer to a long time request, which on my part, dates back last year via these article about Nokia N8, a Symbian running device, not going well as a Bloggers phone having no dedicated client app for Blogger, well, a developer answered the challenge by creating the very first one.

The app promises the following features:
- Read, edit, create and delete posts and comments in different blogs
- HTML5 enabled post viewer
- Add labels, set custom publishing date and time in posts
- Comes with one of the best and convenient rich text editor ever made
- Smooth, fast and clean UI

...but did it lived up to expectation? Can I really write an article directly on my lust green Nokia N8, without my laptop?

Well, as much as I wanted to, my first blog post attempt was unsuccessful because the version I have is the FREE one that has no blog posting feature. I need to install the full retail version to be able do so, but nonetheless, I had an overview of how it works.

The app was a huge challenge on its own, it has only limited features, like for instance, in the writing mode where it only shows 7 options like Bold, Italic, Underline, Strike, Link, Paragraphs and Image; it uses only an HTML set-up; it doesn't have any direct photo or video upload, that users need to upload them online and get there links before they can be added to the blog post; and that the client automatically fits articles to its predetermined format.

In addition, if you're using a touchscreen phone, the virtual keypad might also be a problem. It wouldn't be as comfortable to use compared to a full mechanical QWERTY keypad. Users will have to adopt to the virtual set-up that might take sometime to get use to.

A few remedies were available online though, for instance, SWYPE, a virtual keyboard mechanism that enables users to input words faster and easier through one continuous finger motion across the screen keyboard, can definitely address the keyboard issue. On the image addition, users can upload images to Flick'r, Twitpic or any other image hosting sites, by copying its url using the copy and paste feature of the phone, then attached it to the image url and its done.

Overall, its a good start but I would love to see fixes on the aforementioned problem specially on direct photo or video upload to Blogger and the apps format fixation. I hope it won't take the developer sometime to address this issues.

To download Blob, CLICK HERE! Full version is worth PhP20.00 locally ($1 worldwide).

Nokia World 2012 is already in 3 months’ time! Thoughts!

Time really fly fast, it was only a few months ago that the Nokia World 2011 was celebrated in grand with the launched of services, accessories and devices likes the Nokia Lumia 800 and 710, the Nokia Asha 303, Nokia Purity Stereo Headsets among others, now they are geared for another event that always changed mobilephone landscape.

Speaking of change, Nokia Conversations reports that they have made several changes in the said event; instead of a single, large-scale event, they now will run a number of smaller, more intimate events with specific audiences in mind and it will take place on September 5-6 instead of September 25-26 in Helsinki. These intimate events is said to provide the most enjoyable and rewarding experience tailored for each audience.

Well, I like the idea of making events specific and intimate for participants but on the other hand, grandness aside, it gives people a real view of the current standing of the company, that they need to cut cost and I'm with them on these. I believe it will just be temporary as they make there way back to the mainstream.

On the change of date, I think they’re on to something BIG that they cannot wait longer for it to be revealed. Windows Phone 8 maybe on phones and tablets as rumor describes it, or a new disruptive technology. If there is one company at the moment that is very eager to get back on track, it’s Nokia and they are not wasting any time to achieve this.

Good luck then, may such move serve its purpose.

Lumianation, The Grand Launch of Nokia Lumia in the Philippines

The whole Nokia Windows Phone family is taking the spotlight tonight in an event dubbed Lumianation happening at the BHS Central Amphitheater, Bonifacio Global City, Philippines.

Nokia Philippines promised a night of intensity and party, Filipino style, something that will leave a marked in the local scene. Jump Smokers, an international group hailed as the "Kings of Dancefloor" will be there to provide vibrancy, celebrities like Kris Aquino perhaps being the latest Lumia endorser among others.

Since its dubbed Lumianation and the Amphitheater has a 5 story building that can be transformed into a huge theater screen, I believe they will light up the said building with colors and cool graphics, somewhat like New York but nothing near London.

Well, as usual, I will just be following the said event on Twitter, invite was sent just a week before the event so I was not able to secure a cheaper airline ticket and that also I don't have extra bucks to spend specially that I still have a balance to pay for my Law tuition for the 2nd semester and enrollment for the coming semester is already on. Next time maybe, in the Nokia 808 PureView launch perhaps?

Anyways, I will just say good luck to Nokia Philippines team, enjoy the night and God speed! This is your moment.

By the way, for anyone who wants to attend, follow Nokia Philippines on Twitter and Facebook, I believe there giving away FREE invites to lucky followers.

Nokia Asha 200 Pep Talk Part 2, Software, Browser, eMail, Camera, Wrap Up

The Nokia Asha 200 has a modest overall first impression and hardware. It might not be as solid and dependable compared to metallic framed high end handsets but within its price range, the phone superior in most aspects. Read the Pep Talk Part 1 HERE.
Software

The phone runs a Symbian 40 V11.56, the most prime, dependable and reliable operating system in mobilephone world. Count the number of years that the software had existed (1999), the number of software version that sprung from it (4) and the number of devices it was used (somewhere around 1.5 Billion), that’s how prominent it is in the mobilephone space.

Same as its being renowned for, the Symbian 40 software on Nokia Asha 200 delivers no less than the easiest and most convenient mobilephone experience for users. Anyone can just use the phone right up and familiarize its mechanism which had been proven tested through time.

In terms of stability, the phone handles it like the back of its hand. Maybe because the phone have only basic features that are not extensive to use or that Symbian had mastered the software like no other for decades, but no matter, it’s the system and mechanism that other manufacturers can only dream of for entry level devices.

Homescreen:

The Homescreen of Asha 200 is 2.4inches with 320 x 240 pixels, has a 256K color resolution and supports application shortcuts. The screen size is very typical, it’s the same to that of Nokia E71, E72 or E6, which is desirable in terms of width because anything beyond this will make the phone arduous to hold. The color resolution is a bit bland but then again, it’s the best screen resolution you can find on the price bracket. The screen is fully customizable to user’s preference, you can add, remove or move the content bar and the shortcut bar depending on your most used applications.

Dual SIM

Nokia might be a bit late in adopting Dual SIM phones but they made it sure that the mechanism was rightly fitted before handling it out to consumers. What Nokia did was combine the contacts, logs and messaging of individual SIM’s into one making it easier for users to access. I just want Nokia to add more markers on the messages and contacts from each SIM, at the moment they were just numbers on the right part of the screen, well, a color marker will do. So far, the Dual SIM mechanism works perfectly well, no signal problems like that of Chinese cloned phones, no drop calls or unsent SMS whatsoever.

Calendar and Contacts

Symbian s40 calendar is pretty much basic were the screen is divided vertically between the month view and the calendar entries. You can add entries such as reminders, birthdays, meetings, anniversary among others. Contacts on the other hand was minimalist, you can add a lot of data on it such as internet details, multimedia files such as tones and images and personal information such as postal address, birthday, note, formal name or nickname. Contacts can either be viewed by name, name with image or name with number. Nothing extraordinary in here except a few tweaks on entry of information’s.

Web and Email

Not typical among affordable entry level phones but Nokia made it sure that its stronghold, the mass market, can enjoy all the modern services that the world has to offer.

The Nokia Browser on the Asha 200 brings rich web browsing that’s fairly capable. Nokia uses a cloud compression technology to reduce data usage up to 90% resulting to quicker web page download. Well, it does fasten the download process compared to the previous but the compression mechanism resulted to a poor webpage visual but nonetheless, the page can be zoom in or out with a little log and it reduces the data cost per web page.

Nokia eMail on the other hand gives users an easy access to e-mail anywhere and anytime. Users can view, respond, forward, compose and delete e-mails and manage e-mail inbox, outbox, drafts and sent folders. Downloading emails is also economical since it implements data compression similar to that of the browser.

Nokia Social

Since the dawn of social networking, the need to connect to social sites like Facebook and Twitter became a necessity rather than a privilege. Mobilephone consumers were now looking beyond the norm, high end or not, and so the Nokia Social was created not only to address the inevitable but gave users the best social network experience in low end devices. The app combines Twitter and Facebook were users can access both even opening there individual apps. Quite typical but for entry level phones, its the easiest and the most affordable social connectivity app in the market at the moment.

Nokia Store

Perhaps the biggest addition to S40 device, the Nokia store is an application that lets users find or buy contents, wallpapers, themes or application for the phone all in one place. I can still remember the days when I need to scroll around several web pages to customize my phone, now all it takes is a single intuitive app. The phone uses mobile data to download contents but for users to reduce possible cost incurred, you can connect the phone to a WIFI connected pc; download, install and open the Nokia Suite; go to the Nokia Store webpage and download directly from there. The pc downloaded contents will be installed directly to the phone.

Music and Radio

Music Player is also modest enough giving user’s easy way to navigate music files. A smallish album cover can be found on the right portion of the player, title of the tract were on the right side while the music grid (forward, play and rewind) on the bottom. Media options includes; Play in background – option were you can leave the music player page without turning the player off and do other stuffs on the phone; Shuffle songs; Repeat and Add to Playlist. Equalizer or bass booster is not supported as well as playlist synchronization over Nokia Suite. This would mean that you have to manually create your playlist. Music Player supports MP3, WMA, WAV and AAC+ files.

The FM radio was very typical, it can only be played with a headset inserted, tuning is both automatic and manual and users can save unlimited number of radio stations.

Video Playback

The Video player supports WMV, H.264, H.263 and MP4 files, but due to its limited processor, playing videos on the phone is not that smooth but still watchable enough.

Camera and Camcorder

The phone sports a 2MP camera capable of taking ordinary images in good lighting condition. It’s also capable of recording videos of up to 10fps. Very basic imaging feature here creating lightweight file size but very much ideal for the phone since it only rely on EDGE for web connectivity. Posting images or videos on Facebook or Twitter won’t be too costly.

Games

The phone had 4 pre-installed, 3 Full games and 1 Demo. Among the Full games were my personal favorite Diamond Rush, Highroller Casino and Solitaire. The demo game was the Asphalt 4 Elite Racing. Then again as I’ve mentioned earlier, the phone had a fully supported Nokia Store app client were you can download hundreds of games, themes, ringtones among others. Just connect the phone to a WIFI connected PC, open the Nokia Store web page and you’re ready to download all you want.

Wrap up

The Asha 200 is the first attempt of Nokia to bring the QWERTY form factor to low end market and the said move was no less than a classic success since they were able to create a device that crossed boundaries. The phone doesn’t only have an attractive and value worthy QWERTY hardware but also prime software, a lethal combination that befits consumers more than anything else. Compared to the rest of the devices on its bracket, the Asha 200 humbly edge them out in every category that’s why I’m proud to recommend it to everyone. Enjoying your hard earn money should not be a privilege, it should be a choice, so if you’re looking for the best yet affordable Dual QWERTY phone, think of Asha 200, no less.

Nokia Asha 200 Pep Talk Part 1, Dual SIM Mass Market QWERTY

I've always wanted to own a monobloc QWERTY device ever since I laid eyes on it decades ago. I was lusting to buy the Nokia E61 after a friend of mine showed me one, I want to buy the Nokia E71 when it was announced, the E72 after I trialled one and the E6 being my dream form factor “Touch and Type” Symbian^3 device, but it all remained a desire for a very obvious reason, I can’t afford to buy one. I might be working in two hospitals beyond a normal 8 hour working limit, but I'm still not earning enough for my family and myself, not until the Nokia Asha 200 was announced bearing a mass market price tag. Right there and then my unreachable desire comes closer to fruition, that finally, after a decade, I can finally own a monobloc QWERTY device.

The Nokia Asha 200 looks fairly attractive, I was quite surprise when I saw it up-close because it looked premium with all the shiny silver buttons and the well color contrasted QWERTY keys. If you’re not familiar with the phone, you will really think it’s expensive, a huge plus factor for the phone.

Holding it feels similarly surprising because even with its low price, Nokia manage to squeeze in a sturdy phone structure, a customary wide dimension which gives a befitting QWERTY keypad space and a glossy plastic cover which feels good to hold, but prone to scratches and breakage.

And speaking about the QWERTY keypad, aside from being well spaced as aforementioned, it’s also well-lit and made of plastic matte that is soft to press. It has a good tactile feedback which I find striking and the dynamic E-Series keyboard mechanism that is very easy to familiarize and get used to.

The phone has the conventional 2.4 inches screen similar to that of the high end devices and a 256K color resolution which is pleasant enough. On its price point, these screen specs were best you can get.

Nothing much can be found around the phone’s hardware, on the upper side are the charger port, the 3.5mm audio jack, the USB connection port and the lanyard inlet. On the left side are the SIM 2 (Hot Swappable) and the memory card slot that handles up to 32GB. No buttons or connectors can be found on the left and bottom parts.

At the back are the 2MP camera and loudspeaker while beyond the back cover is the Li-Ion 1430mAh battery with SIM 1 slot underneath it. The battery was said to last up to 552 h of standby time, up to 7 h of talk time and up to 52 h of music, well, on personal note, with the phone being use as my primary, the phone gives me a solid 3 days without charging, that’s crazy long from someone who uses a mobilephone not only for simple SMS and call but everything, from music, camera, games to surfing the net.

Wrap-up

Well, unlike the rest of the phone that I’ve tried and used, the Nokia Asha 200’s hardware captured the true essence of affordability without much of a compromise. With its price tag, users get to enjoy premium look, fair built quality and modern features and specs which are unparalleled yet in the mobilephone space. The phone is an absolute steal!

With this alone, I can already recommend the phone to users who want more for their hard earn money. The phone deserves the recognition for being a device that answers to every poor man’s QWERTY desire, but aside from the hardware, there is also what we call the software that works the phone to serve its purpose and will tackle about that in the next blog post. For the meantime, enjoy this few images of the Dual SIM mass market QWERTY.

International group Jump Smokers live at the May 18th Nokia Lumia Philippine Launch

Everything is set for a Grand Party like no other as Nokia tapped the international group Jump Smokers to bring a world class cool vibe at the Nokia Lumia launch in May 18th at the BHS Central Amphitheater, Bonifacio Global City, Philippines.

Jump Smokers first caught the ear of American dance music fans with their official remixes of songs by pop artists including Katy Perry, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Usher, Jessie J., Pitbull and P!nk. The group is also known for producing a remix of Mariah Carey’s “Obsessed,” which was included in her worldwide album release “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.” Later on, they were even commissioned to make 12 more tracks for the American songstress’ remix album series.

This Chicago-based crew is composed of four members: DJ Flipside, Reydon, Roman and Johnny Digital. But what most do not know is two of their members – DJ Flipside and Reydon – are Filipinos born in the U.S. These guys have been together for several years now and have been making chart-topping tracks since then.

Dubbed as the “Kings of the Dancefloor,” the group continues to create record-breaking and body-thumping remixes that bring energy to their numerous fans worldwide. They also came up with their debut album under Ultra Records, which has been garnering positive response since its release.

Their album, now also available on iTunes, is packed with their innovative dance and party anthems including "Rock It Like It's Spring Break" featuring Pitbull, “Drunk Girls In The Club,” “Dance Rock Shake Pop,” “Faded,” and the appropriately named “Club Rockers.”

If you want to be blown away with the amazing music of Jump Smokers, represented on this tour by DJ Flipside and Roman, catch them at the Nokia Lumia launch on May 18, 2012 at the BHS Central Amphitheater, Bonifacio Global City, where they will bring to the Philippines the same club rock music that had America dancing on their feet.

Something Amazing Is About To Happen in May 18, 2012!

It seems that Nokia Philippines is letting no stones unturned as they are about to hold another mind blowing event in May 18, 2012 for their award winning Lumia range of devices.

No further details were mentioned on the invite yet as to the location or the Lumia devices to be launched but I believe the event is going to be a huge one similar to that of London and New York.

On the event's front line might be the Lumia 900, Nokia's flagship Windows Phone device with a 4.3 inch ClearBlack AMOLED display for a superior touch and viewing experience; stylish polycarbonate unibody design; 8MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics with a large aperture for improved performance in low light conditions and wide angle focal length for capturing full 16:9 images; a front-facing camera, among the rest of the latest and the best features and specs on modern smartphone.

Nokia Lumia 610, 710 and 800 might also be on the grid, but no matter, I'm more than excited for the said event because it "might" be my first media launch coverage in my 3 year blogging career.

Hah! Well it really be? I need to check how much the airline ticket first! Stay tuned. ;)

Nokia extends its partnership with Carl Zeiss

More superior camera smartphones are yet to come as Nokia and Carl Zeiss announced its extended exclusive partnership, creating the likes of Nokia N8 and the Nokia 808 PureView, industry's best and unparalleled camera smartphones.

The Nokia 808 PureView, which will start rolling out in May, combines high-performance Carl Zeiss optics with Nokia developed algorithms and a super-high resolution sensor to set a new standard in high-end smartphone imaging.

"Carl Zeiss was a crucial partner in the creation of the first PureView experience," said Jo Harlow, executive vice president of Nokia Smart Devices. "The benefits of our ongoing collaboration will be more PureView innovation and further advancements in smartphone imaging in the coming months and years."

Michael Kaschke, CEO, Carl Zeiss AG: "When joining forces with Nokia in 2005, we wanted to push the boundaries of mobile photography. Looking back at seven years of successful partnership, we are proud of the innovations and outstanding products created in this shared journey. Today we are celebrating the extension of our collaboration with a new technology that sets another real benchmark in this sector."

I'm definitely getting the Nokia 808 PureView because if there is one thing that will rekindle my passion for the blog, its the phone with its superior camera specs. I started the blog out of my love for Nokia N82, then I keep it running with a Nokia N8 on my side, now its the 808 PureView's time to capture the blog's moments.

Which Avengers Character Are You? Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk or others?

The Avengers movie had been getting a rave attention worldwide, in the Philippines alone; it had already broke local box office record making it the highest grossing film of all time. I believe it will also do the same in other countries, but before that happens we might as well learn more about the characters in the movie, going beyond there suits or public image.

Black Widow - Natasha Romanoff

A sex serine and highly trained spy working for S.H.I.E.L.D, an international peacekeeping organization. She has an extraordinary fighting skill, clever personality and swaying prowess like no other, but best of all, she works for the greater good. Weakness, she has no superpower unlike other members of the team.

Captain America - Steve Rogers

A World War II veteran who was enhanced to the peak of human physicality by an experimental serum. In the film, he is trying to come to terms with the modern world, where he was sent, decades after his time. Steve Rogers of course got the looks, enhance human ability and has the virtue of a true hero. Weakness, he’s also vulnerable being human.

Hawkeye - Clint Barton

A master archer and S.H.I.E.L.D. agent known as the "World's Greatest Marksman". Just like Black Widow, he possesses no superpowers, only a mastered skill of archery but unparalleled. It's a lonely character for Hawkeye, he's an outcast and his only connection is to Natasha whom was considered his critical right/left hand. They both need to coexist when it comes to a physical mission.

Hulk - Dr. Bruce Banner

A genius scientist who, because of exposure to gamma radiation, transforms into a monster when enraged or excited. In the film, he was impersonated as a being who people don’t want to mess around, danger is within him and invisibility as well. He won’t get hurt by gun shots or any form of firearms. Weakness, he continues to struggle with the two sides of his character, the dark and the light, and everything he does in his life is filtered through issues of control.

Iron Man - Tony Stark

A technology buff, self-described genius, billionaire, playboy and philanthropist with a mechanical suit of armor of his own invention. He had all the coolest gadgets in the world from thin touched tablets/phones to computer hologram screens, the hottest chick in town and all the money in the world. Who wouldn’t want to be Tony Starks? Weakness, he is purely human and depends a lot on his mechanical suit.

Nick Fury

The director of S.H.I.E.L.D., an international peacekeeping organization. He possesses a cunning leadership skill, fitting to lead superheroes. But as inciting as he is, he does not want to be mess around with, it’s like he has dark side in him but on the lighter note.

Maria Hill

A S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who works closely with Jackson's Nick Fury. Being an agent, she also possesses a strong character with fighting skill, though not shown in the movie. She was touted also as a normal career woman balancing work and family life. Her greatest strength, a trusted confidant, while her weakness, she has no superpower unlike other members of the team.

Thor

The god of thunder based on the Norse deity. Being a god, he possess a supernatural personality; powerful, protector and commanding like he carries the world upon his shoulder. He is heroic yet autocratic. Weakness, he's constantly having to battle the greater good and what he should do vs. the fate of his little brother, who was the causing all the trouble.

So back to the title question, for me, being a geek, I’m more of a Tony Stark by 40% because I’m fun of having gadgets around me but I’m not as brilliant, as vile and as rich as he is. I’m also a 30% Steve Rogers being good looking (ahem!), plus the fact that I have a problem fitting to the modern times, not by character but by monetary resources and last but not the least, 30% Nick Fury having the dark side vulnerability of not wanting to be mess around.

So how about you, which Avenger character are you?
