The Happening; Love Provoking

M. Night Shyamalan has unleashed another thriller and thought provoking masterpiece via the movie The Happening, showing in most theaters in Metro Manila and some major provincial cities in the Philippines.

I have seen this movie in SM Bacoor just recently and I love the storyline. Its unique and an eye opener since their is a big possibility that the scenario would happened in real life. I never thought of such possibility, man against nature in a simple yet distinct manner. The movie was presented as normal as possible depicting the real scenario when such incident will occur, no special effect, no picturesque scenery, just thrills and chills all the way.

The movie depicts nature fighting back against human race, bringing balance to the environment as what it should be, eliminating people via his/her most core need, air. Nature have unleashed a neurotoxin in the air that affects human brains that makes them commit suicide. A big possibility since we can see that their was now a great imbalance in the world and people had brought so much devastation against nature and the environment. Our world is governed by a universal law, survival of the fittest and nature abides this rule as well.
