I was able to mention this promotion before from Metropolitan Bank and Trust Corporation, Philippines biggest bank and Adidas in my past blog, but for the information of everybody, I will like to share with you the requirements needed to apply for a Metrobank Credit Card to avail this special promotion.
Free products from Adidas up for grabs worth Php3,000 for every approved credit card application from June 1 to August 31 2008. You have at least 5 weeks to apply.
Mechanics of the promo; Just apply for a credit card within the specified date, and once approved, you are automatically entitled to avail it. Upon receiving your card, one must be able to purchase at least Php2,000 worth of goods using the newly approve Credit Card before October 31, 2008 in either accumulated or single transaction but will be void and paid to Adidas if the card is discontinued in less than a year. The gift certificate can only be availed in selected participating Adidas Stores, closest to my location, SM City Cebu.
Here are the requirements to apply for a Metrobank Credit Card.
• Be between 21 and 65 years old and a Philippine resident
• Be employed and/or practicing a profession for at least 2 years, or if self-employed, your business must be operational for at least 3 years
• Be residing or employed within 30 kilometers range from any Metrobank Branch Nationwide
• Have a residential or business landline telephone
• Have at least a monthly income of PHP10,000 for Visa or MasterCard Classic, Femme Visa, Go! and M Mastercard; PHP50,000 for Visa or Mastercard Gold; and PHP75,000 for Platinum (income must be verifiable and consistent with income proof)
The following supporting documents are needed for further information.
• Your Tax Identification Number (TIN)
• Your Social Security Service number (SSS) / Government Service Insurance System
Number (GSIS)
• Your Credit Card Number/s from other bank/s
Please ensure that you fill in as many fields as possible to increase the chances of
approval. You will be requested by email to submit the following by fax or post:
• A valid ID document
• A proof of income
Supplementary Applicants may be any of the following:
• Relatives of the primary applicant defined as spouse, children, children-in-law, parents,
parents-in-law, siblings and siblings-in-law
• Non-relatives. If non-relative, kindly fill out appropriate fields in the supplementary card
application portion which are required in order that we may process the application. The
Bank may obtain additional information from the non-relative in order to process the
application.

I'd like to know if MetroBank required you to submit an ITR when you applied for their credit card. I am interested in getting a MetroBank M Lite MasterCard but I couldn't produce an ITR as of now. Thank you.
c",Hello, ITR is one of the most needed requirement in the application process but if you cant produce one for the moment, try Metrobank Value Credit Card, no requirements needed, all you need to do is deposit at least Php15,000 and have it holdout. Visit the nearest Metrobank Branch to apply.
