Nokia 900's Official Philippine Price!

Launched during the Lumianation event at the BHS Central Amphitheater, Bonifacio Global City, Nokia's flagship Windows Phone finally got its official Philippine price, PhP27,900.00 ($643) unlocked, but currently being sold only in underground retail shops on limited stocks with a marked up price.

You can't buy the Lumia 900 yet even in Nokia Flagship Stores so the stocks available in the aforementioned shops were imported from China or Hongkong with an added shipping cost to compensate. At the moment, its being sold within the PhP30,000 ($690) range from these suppliers.

On the other hand, Smart Communications Inc. announce its exclusive offering for the phone but even now they were silent about its availability. Well, the a huge demand of the phone worldwide definitely cause the delay but hopefully Nokia was doing something about it. Nokia N9 Full Blast

I was able to visit Cagayan De Oro City 4 days ago and very happy to find out that Nokia N9 is already selling in all retail shops around the city. Nokia Flagship Store in Limketkai Mall offered the phone for PhP25,500 for the 16GB variant and PhP29,500 for the 64GB while other retail outlet offers it a thousand less from the above mentioned.

To be very honest, I really missed the phone, obvious proof was my unusual fiddle of the display dummy for a few minutes, to rekindle the memories maybe or just wanting to fell that haunting hold again. I might not be able to afford the phone at the moment because I still have to finished my laptop installment but who knows.

My Nokia N9 fancy will definitely be challenged by Nokia Lumia 800 having the same design and to be offered anytime this month or next month so its going to be a huge weight-out for me. Both phones offer an interesting Operating System gaining positive feedback from everyone.

I've just observed though that the phone did not gain commercial support from Nokia Philippines as compared to Nokia N8 when it was launched two years ago but even so, I really want to stress the phones overall performance here and want to recommend it to everyone. The phone is worth every penny spent you visit any Nokia retail store and grab yours.

Even if it has a better specs and feature than that of the Nokia N8, the phone is currently being offered less, the cheapest store price is currently offered for PhP17,000, very much similar again to eBay.ph power sellers. The phone is FREE at All-in Plan 2500 and Unlimited Data Plan 3000 at Smart Telecom, Globe and Sun doesn't offer the phone. Nokia Flagship stores offers it a thousand more than the store price. I will flag this as the best buy among the phones, you will get more than what you pay for.

My dream form factor, QWERTY Capacitative Candy Bar, Nokia E6 is now being offered with the cheapest store price of PhP13,500. Globe Telecom offers this for FREE on Plan 2,499, this time around Smart and Sun sucks

Nokia 700, the most affordable Symbian Belle with 1Ghz processor is being sold in retail store the cheapest at around PhP13,700. No telecom offers yet for the phone. Well, if you want to experience a better and faster user interface in a pocket friendly pitch, then this is the perfect phone for you.

Then we have the Nokia Asha 303, another QWERTY Capacitative touch candybar phone, my dream phone factor, its currently being offered at around PhP6,450. If you want a fast, powerful yet affordable phone to satisfy your socially connected lifestyle, look no further.

Then the Dual SIM line ups that highly recommend, the Nokia 101, X1-01 and C2-01. All three with different market targets, C2-03 for the young and fashionable, price at PhP4,300, the Nokia X1-01 for the music oriented individuals, price at PhP1,870, then last but the least, my business phone, the Nokia 101 which cost at around PhP1430 on retail stores.

Nokia N96, The Most Expensive Device in the Nokia Portfolio?

This is a big surprise! N96, the only mobileTV carrying flagship device from Nokia is the most expensive device in the Nokia portfolio here in my place. That’s according to the Price Guide that I receive from Gaisano Interface for July! Funny but so true! c”,

It’s PhP1,000 more expensive than the N900, Nokia’s Meamo flagship device, PhP5,100 expensive than the N97 Navi, Nokia’s NSeries Navigation optimize flagship device and PhP7,800 ridiculously expensive than N97 Mini, the best Symbian touch device in the market!

Well I hope this is just a glitz or misunderstanding from the supplier because technically, N96 is far more inferior than the current mentioned devices and even to N95 or my beloved N82. What it only have are bigger memory and DVBH TV receiver, other than that, it has nothing more to offer.

Latest Mobile Phones Spotted In The Little Hongkong Of The South

Pagadian City is nowhere to be left out this days, it has become one of the most prominent city in the south having just recently been recognize as the capital city of Zamboanga Del Sur. Its called the Little Hongkong Of The South because of its sloping terrain straddled by the mountain range on its north and west boundaries, likely same to that of Hongkong or should I say, worst.

Withholding a major shift in political geography comes an economic development with trade and business flourishing in all fronts. One of the major change in this city is the opening of the most prominent chain of malls in the country, the Gaisano Group of companies opening a gateway for more shops to be accessible particularly prominent mobile phone shops in the country bringing with them the latest devices. Only one shop has this phones for sale though, the Cellworld, located at the third floor of the Gaisano Capital, while the rest of the shops has N95 8GB as among their high price value.

Among the newest phone spotted where Nokia N97, the latest flagship which cost at around Php33,000, expensive tag here compared to others, nonetheless taking advantage of their position of being the only shop selling the device within the area. Nokia N86 8MP was price with Php24,800, a bit cheaper than the Nokia Flagship Stores which costs Php25,800. E75 lands on Php 22,000 price marked, a bit much compared to others. To my surprise, this shop even have 5730 XpressMusic already on their shelf with a tag price of Php16,800, impressive! Bad news for me though, they don't have installment plans for credit cards so I will need to travel to Cagayan De Oro or Zamboanga City to buy my Nokia N86 8MP very soon. I just hope they would offer this in the future, who knows I might buy Nokia Superman in their shop next year.

Just Another Mobile Phone Price Watch, Philippines

A lot of developments came in lately specially in mobile phone arena as anticipated devices begins to harbor mobile shops and stores around the country that's why I'm bringing back the Mobile Price Watch hot and fresh.

Head Start, my once upon a time, most anticipated phone of the season, Nokia N97 has finally been sighted with a superlatively decent price tag of Php30,600 to Php33,000. Though Nokia Flagship Stores have exclusive distribution of the phone until the end of the month, most of the mobile shops I've been to, were already starting to accept pre-orders/reservations with a lonesome downpayment of course. But then if you have an insider friend from this shops, you could probably go home with a unit right there and then, that if you keep your mouth shut because they will be fined by Nokia for bridge of contrat. c", Nokia Flagship Stores were selling this phone for Php34,000 at the moment and they accept installment plan for credit card holders.

Next Up, my current anticipated device, N86 8MP, widely available in most stores. This device banks a very lucrative and enticing price of Php23,400 - Php25,000 and is available in Black or White. I call this phone the most feature packed best value phone at the moment due to its competitive price tag and high end features. I never thought this phone would cost this cheap, I was thinking it would be within the Php28,000 mark like that of N85 when it was first release. I was thinking of holding on a little bit longer before buying one, maybe the price will go down a bit but that if I can hold my lust.

Nokia E75, the current ESeries powerhouse is now within the Php17,000 - Php22,000 marked, a thousand peso lower when it first came out two weeks ago. Another good value phone in our midst. Of course this was targeted for the Business Savvy individual, perfect fit.

I was a bit surprise thought that my omnipotent N82 is back on top of the price list. Its currently being tagged at around Php15,500 - Php17,000 which is a lot higher than my previous post of Php13,500. Maybe their was a sudden increase of demand and fewer supply that's why the price soared. My other dream phone, N85 is now within the Php18,500 - Php20,000. A little to expensive I believe since its elder broad, the N86 8MP have been raoming already with a more powerful feature and specs. This phone will definitely be engulf by its predecessor in this Price range, so it has to be lowered a bit, at least to gain buyers.

Another new phone on the block was the very simple yet stylish Nokia 6700, a predecessor of the very successful Nokia 6300. The main attraction of this phone is its simplicity enriching the idea of elegance and usefulness. I would have been lured to go with this phone if I'm not a heavy entertainment and feature user but I'm not. Anyways, theirs a big market of this phone in the real world and the millions of 6300 devices sold will speak for that.

Finally the very successful 5800 XpressMusic which is now being regarded as the number one selling device via Telecom carrier in Europe. Very much significant I believe because it suites up to becoming the most selling touchscreen device in history, my Sony Ericsson fanatic brother has one. Its being price currently at Php14,000 - Php15,500 in most stores.

Just Another Mobile Phone Price Watch Philippines

Its been awhile guys since I feature a Price watch, well this was because my mind is solely fixed on buying the most awaited smartphone in the entire mobileverse, Nokia N97, that I didn't care touring up to mobile shops and asking other phones prices, oh well here it is now, by the way, I was asking every store I've been to about N97 and as of the moment, they don't have any confirmation just yet but accepts reservations, you just need to pay Php10,000 so they can secure a unit for you once it becomes available.

Back to the price list, I've been following remarkable phones, to start with, the latest ESeries device that grace the Nokia portfolio, E75. Price range of this phone is now unbelievably within the Php20,400 mark in one of the stores I inquired while the rest plays below Php21,000, can you imagine this? a powerful device with a full QWERTY keyboard glory costing only a dime? hehe just kidding, its still expensive to me and most people here but the thought that it have almost crossed below Php20,000 marked in just 2 weeks after its release was remarkable and it will only be a matter of time when this phone cross below that line, incredible. People should buy this phone, its the best value phone at the moment among the new breeds.

The Nokia N85, my dream AMOLED screen carrying phone was now price within the Php18,500 sale marked which is also amazing since this phone is power featured and top notched. If Nokia N97 did not exist at the moment, I would have bought this phone by now to team up with my N82 but sadly, N97 is about to be release, so its a chao and final goodbye my once dream phone.

N96 on the other hand, the NSeries DVBH, 2.8 wide screen powerhouse phone is now within the Php27,900 marked. A remarkable drop rather but within the range of N97. I don't think this phone should be price this way knowing that N97 is just around the corner beaming within same price range, it should be lower by 5thousand so it can attract potential buyers. Maybe the phone production was costly thats why they cant lower it further, anyhow the DVBH will still matter in some buyers.

E71 has now cascade down to Php16,900 marked, the only QWERTY carrying power phone before E75 and N97, now its a cold shot but it has already become a legendary, a fleet only few can achieved, kudos to the makers and designers!

Finally the Omnipotent Nokia N82. Rumor has it that the phone will be put to rest together with the Nokia N95 variants after two years of existence. A sad news to the world since it will hinder peoples discovery of its greatness and capacity. This phone deserves to be in the hall of fame and must go down in history as the best xenon carrying camera phone to ever exist. The prize royalty is now within the Php13,900 range, the best of the best value featured packed phone out there. People should buy this phone and must hurry buying one before supplies last.

Its been a while since I feature price watch on my blog and I have a new phone added on my list, the Nokia E75, a business smartphone with side slider QWERTY keyboard for optimal messaging experience, sporting Symbian OS, S60 rel. 3.2, 3.5G HSDPA, WIFI, videos, music, and graphics on a 2.4” QVGA display and orientation sensor, this phone is very much considered a power house device. The device carries also an integrated A-GPS, 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera, USB charging with simultaneous data transfer, Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR, and USB 2.0 High-Speed among others.

E75 was introduce to the Philippine market just this week with a price mark of Php22,700, mall price and a whopping Php25,000 in Nokia Flagship Stores. Quite reasonable here knowing that the device with same spectrum like E71 was introduce at Php27,000 price range and yet E75 has extra buffs with it like the slide QWERTY and N-Gage compatibility.

Speaking about E71, the most successful device in the Enterprise series, the device is now within Php15,900 marked, a huge drop from its initial tag, enjoy top of the line device for a mid range price.

The 5800 XpressMusic, the fastest selling mobile phone in the world now cost Php15,200 mall price, quite remarkable here since its was only 3 months ago that this cost Php25,000. A midrange powerhouse that conquers the touchscreen market with a bang. Nokia must make more low cost, best specs phones to make a huge impact again and that includes N97 suppose to be if they sold it below the 500 Euro marked but instead they bullied it to 599 Euro, a big mistake. They would have conquer the touch market in all fronts but unfortunately there stupid enough to realize this.

N85, a dream phone of mine is now labeled within the Php18,900 price range. The AMOLED carrying device with awesome dual slider form factor is now within reached, I was thinking of buying this phone instead of the overprice N97 but I dont think I'm ready to leave my N82 just yet.

N82, the device to beat by Nokia new comers is now sold at Php13,500, an awesome price designation that can boil water without heating. Imagine a device with powerful specs unequalled in Nokia realms yet sold at a cheap price, its like the biggest sale in the history of mobile phones. If your a power user within using a midrange phone at the moment or even N Series users like N73, N80 etc, then this is the best upgrade for you, enjoy the Best Imaging Device with Xenon Flash, splashed into the world of N-Gage with 3D acceleration graphics support like no others and sway into the sleekness and rubostness with N82's design and form factor. Amazing!!

N97's Bitter Price.

In my Email round up lately, I've crossed several newsletters with N97 headliner, the seemingly unstoppable arrival of the most anticipated smartphone in the mobile world to date, well, maybe not anymore after a bitter price tagged into it.

Yesterday, a website mentioned that Nokia allegedly decrease the price of the phone from from 540 Pounds, its original announce price before tax to below 500 Pound mark which would mean happy days for everyone since it would save me and the other eager buyers huge bucks. It was sited that Nokia made this decision in respect to the economic recession that the world is experiencing at the moment. I cannot confirm though if this website is reliable but as far as I've notice, this is a formal site for news and events, not just a blog or a fly by night site.

Then the next day it became official with a Telecom network announcing N97's price tag, Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM) posted the device on their webpage with a whopping 599 Euro which is equivalent to $780 in US Dollars and Php38,100 in Philippine peso, an amazingly crazy and expensive price for a mobile phone. Who the hell would buy this phone with an insane cost, its utterly ridiculous. I wont buy a mobile phone that cost more than my laptop, its annoying and Nokia people are crazy. How come they're selling this phone expensively when its greatest competitor the Omnia HD with powerful specs cost only 440 Euro, thats a 150 Euro lower than N97? I just cant get it, N97 has a mediocre specs with ARM11 460mHz processor, QWERTY keyboard and huge memory on it and yet it cost more?

This would become the most brainless marketing decision that Nokia made in the history of mobile world. No wonder why their losing market share, they just don't know how to price there phone competitively anymore. They become overly greedy and they keep on making wrong decisions. Giving away Symbian UI for competitors to enjoy is a blatant mistake, sticking to low specs phones and not introducing innovative products is a crime in competitive world, etc.. Nokia have to stop this madness before its to late.

Nokia should correct this insanity as soon as possible before buyers like me would loss interest on buying N97 and if this really goes through, it would mean that I will be dropping this phone for another touchscreen device with QWERTY like the HTC Touch Pro maybe or Andriod phones, it can also be non QWERTY like Omnia HD or iPhone 3G 8GB which by the way even cost cheaper than N97, iPhone cost Php32,000 here in the Philippines, 6 thousand cheaper than N97, so its a possibility, but certainly not 5800 XpressMusic. I hate iPhone before due to its expensive price and I hate Samsung rather due to its durability issues but perception change specially when it comes to fairness and I might consider this phones rather than a Php38,000, N97.

Well good luck Nokia, you still have two months to reverse the price before I'm going to be out of Love.

Another 5800 XpressMusic Update!

Nokia 5800 has arrive in the City Of Golden Friendship, Cagayan De Oro City, Philippines. Been there last week and took time to scroll in big mobile shops to eves drop on whats going on around. I've been to the Limketkai Mall, the biggest mall in the city, and SM City Cagayan De Oro, the mall that failed to take off being far from the city proper, and found interesting price range of the device.

First stop, Limketkai mall were I visited 4 of the biggest mobile phone shops, the Graphics All in One which tagged the device the cheapest with 17,890 pesos. It was only 3 weeks ago that I bought this phone for my brother for 18,890 at Junrex SM City Cebu and there have already been significant drop of the price. I wish my brother would have waited a little longer, we would have save a thousand bucks. Minimum allowable charge via credit card, 10thousand and you will then need to pay the remaining amount by cash.

Just beside this shop is Nokia's very own flagship store that post a hefty Php19,143 price tag on the device, aside from the fact that your getting the genuine device from this shop, this is the only store to that accepts credit card installment of up to 6 months. The best option in my opinion because it will breakdown payments to a cheap and reachable status.

Next stop was the NexGen Mobile, and they labeled the phone for Php18,590 cash basis only. Quite expensive here knowing the fact that you can also purchase the device cheaper via cash or single straight or installment credit card payment in other nearby shops. Its likely that they wont attrack consumers in this manner.

Celwave, another major mobile phone supplier designate a Php17,898 device cost which is only 8 pesos shy from being the cheapest against Graphics, but what was better about this shop is that they accept a full credit card charge for the unit with a single stright payment option compared to the limit charge set by Graphics.

Going to SM City Cagayan De Oro shops, there were really no significant difference in the price, the Graphics store in SM cost 50 peso higher than the Limketkai price which I believe was due to the high rent cost of SM. This comes out similar to other mobile shops as well that has a branch in the mall.

Cheapest price of this phone on eBay.ph though is 16,900 pesos from a powerseller, and its now a matter of choice if you trust eBay.ph or not.

Nokia 5800 ExpressMusic continues to wreck sales all over the world and its undeniably the fastest selling phone from Nokia so far and as time passes, the price of this phone will further dropped giving away affordability and opportunity for the mass market to avail.

5800 XpressMusic, the fastest selling mobile phone to date has been lowered again and again, it was just days ago that i notice a remarkable drop in its price on eBay.ph, now, a power seller have tagged the phone at Php17,500 which is 2,500 thousand cheaper than the flagship price.

Another dream phone of mine the Nokia n85, the very first AMOLED carrying mobile phone is now within the Php22,400 bracket, almost 10 Thousand cheaper when it first came out, Flagship store price is at Php24,800. A chance to be able to used this device for at least a week would mean a dream come true because this phone is undeniably powerful and sleek.

The Enterprise 71, one of the most awarded mobile phone of 2008 is now at the Php17,000 range, I was once tempted to buy this device being arguably a talk of the town to date and my eagerness to use a QWERTY device but my lust just didn't go with my heart that's why it didn't materialize. A good try of at least a week or so would be great, it would be a great addition to my mobile experience. The flagship price of E71 is at Php19,600, not bad at all.

N96, the most converge all in one device in the market is at Php26,000 marked, sales of this device is not that remarkable compared to N95 but at least, N96 made quite a stir. I love the notion of television on mobile that's why I've been a great fan of this phone. If only it was price cheaper, i would have marched to mobile shops to buy one. It would have been a great device for me to use since I'm a frequent traveler and television on the go would be my best companion. I wonder how Smart TV plays here in the country. As far as I know, its a monthly subscription with 10 channels on board and only Smart Telecommunications offers such service. I love Smart, its by mile more better than Globe, honest to goodness opinion, and I'm stock to Globe without a choice, for the time being.

Back to the price watch, last on the list was the Nokia N82, my most beloved phone. Flagship price of this phone is at 18,400 while eBay.ph have it tag for a bargain price of 16thousand. The best price all in one device in the market today. I bought this for 21thou 7months ago, imagine how cheap it was now.

Another 5800 XpressMusic Update!

Back to the 5800 XpressMusic update folks, the Zamboanga City, Philippines Edition.

I have some good news and very bad news. The good news, confirmed and sealed, 5800 XpressMusic went on sale in snitch mobile shops but then as of the moment, its out of stock and that's the very bad news.

I went to four main mobile shops in the city and all of them said that there selling the device already but runs out easily. The very first shop I visited was at the Gateway Shoppers Center, the unit cost and around Php20,340 for credit cards installment of up to 6 months, my best option, and it has a less of 1,900 Pesos if bought in cash, it means that the unit cost at about 18,440 only, quite cheap there than the Nokia Flagship price of 19,990 but a bit expensive than the eBay.ph price of 18,000, yup, a super seller on eBay.ph had just drop the price today. Quite happy here, this device costs at about 25thou when it first came out on eBay, and a big hooray for my brother, he wanted this phone badly and the least, its now within my payable bracket. And as mentioned earlier, they don't have a standby unit for the time being and I have to wait for 3 days if I'll buy one, pre-order stint, frown face.

My next pit stop, Expressions Mobile House and they tag 5800 XpressMusic at 18,900 frame, all cash, no credit card installment, a big bobo, and i have to wait for 3 days again because they run out of stock. The saleslady told me that they have 10 units that arrive last week and was sold fast, most of those who got the phone ordered a week ago and I have to cast reservations myself if I want to secure a piece of their stocks arriving within the week.

The craziest thou was the info I got from Busy Tone right beside Chowking, the good sales man told me that I have to pay half of the units price for them to cast a reservation for me, hmmm, pretty odd here because what if the unit wont arrive in due time, can they like, refund my payment right there and then? a big nope, I will have to wait for a week or so before i could get refunds, standard operating procedure for most business establishments.

The last authentic mobile store in line, Megaworld and there not selling the unit yet so obviously they don't know the price, the good news though, there stocks were coming and they emphasize that there going to sell it cheaper than the competition, and this was proven and tested. I brought a Sony Ericsson P1i in this store before and believe it or not, its cost at about 4thou lower than the other stores, shockingly true.

Anyways this will be it for now, no show of 5800 XpressMusic available at the moment, hopefully its already here by next week so I can get a unit for my brother, and yes so I can take a peak as well.
