A suppose to be 2011 second quarter release premium phone Vertu Ascent Ferrari GT made it way first on Philippine stores, cloned!
Inspired by the equally high-end Italian cars, the Vertu Ascent Ferrari GT has a body made of forged titanium with a matte black PVD finish and will cost thousands of dollars was skinned down and copied, Chinese style, costing only PhP3,500 with a dual SIM capability.
It wasn't very GT-ish though compared to the original, the front looks very different but the phone looks shinny enough to attract with a leather-ish and metallic back cover.
The rest of the features of the original Vertu Ascent Ferrari GT includes a 2" QVGA screen and a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with a LED flash. There's a 3G with HSDPA and A-GPS with navigation software and preoloaded maps. The Vertu trademark high-performance 11x15mm stereo speakers are also present.
