Basketball, Source of Evil??

When I was traveling to Zamboanga City last week ends, I was able to seat with a very talkative person. I wasn't really able to know him better and wasn't even interested listening to what he was talking since I was dead tired from waking up as early as 2am to catch up the first trip bus from Ozamis City to Pagadian City. Anyways he still insisted on conversing even thou I wasn't in the mode, a little sarcastic there, hehehe.

He started the conversation with corruption in the government, then he pointed out that the main cause of this problem is BASKETBALL!!

I was surprise because I myself love the game and then he explains why it become the main cause of evil in our government.

1. Steal, basketball encourage players to do such act in order to win. True, because the best way for a team to win is to steal the other teams ball to gain points against the opponent. Stealing is corruption, and what is inculcated in the minds of the audience is that its okay to steal if they want to win in any game and life is a game itself.

2. Fake, basketball players needs to do this act in order for them to fool others players thus preventing a probable block from the opponent. True as well. People wants to fake everything from ID's to public documents to prevent other people to know the truth and etc. Isn't this what corrupt people do?

3. Grab, players have to grab a ball to steal. Grabbing somebodies property for your own pleasure is unacceptable morality. Can be referred to as stealing, snatching and corruption.

4. Foul, encouraging players to commit such act in order to stop another players drive to score points, to kill time of one team, among others. Utterly true again. A person will foul anybody in order to make advances to whatever things he or she wants to achieve, will that be called envious and that we should support each other rather than committing atrocities to others in order to win?

5. Finally, rejoicing to others defeat. Evil kanivel. Will this promotes peace or hatred?

This topic is an eye opener for me, that's why I want to share this with you all.
What do you think? Is Basketball Evil? I'd like to know your thoughts?

Love Nokia N82 Applications

More on N82 People! I just cant stop yet c", Sharing this device to the world is my happiness for the moment, please bare with me.

Here are some of my applications installed on my phone. I have personalize the menu as well that well to suite my interest and needs.

1. Mobitubia - a Flash Video (FLV) Player and Full-Function YouTube portal application with real-time decoding. Key feature of this software, view offline and online FLV file directly to the device. Full-functions youtube like Recently Featured, Popular Clips, Clips Search, View by Tube ID and Open Web Clip and a whole lot more. I find it better and easier to watch youtube videos here than in mobile youtube website. You can't see drags while the videos nor blurred screen. Thank you Sittiphol Phanvilai, the brain behind this software.

2. Yahoo Go! 3- is an application for mobile phones that features search, email, news, photos, and other services pushed to your cell phone. What I like about this software is that it brought me directly to my yahoo account, with just a few clicks. The widsets and icons are cool and navigating it is as easy as abc.

3. Goggle Maps - is a free web mapping service application and technology provided by Goggle that powers many map-based services. It offers street maps, a router planner and an urban business locator's around the world. It introduced a GPS-like location service that does not require a GPS receiver. The "my location" feature works by utilizing the GPS location of the mobile device, if it is available. What I like about this application is the satellite view option, it will let you see how the world looks like in a satellite, lets you zoom in for crispier and clearer view of streets, buildings, landmarks and more. The GPS locator is enjoyable to watch as well, when your traveling, you can actually see your current location as it moves with you.

This 3 applications are part of my root folder menu together with the Themes Icon which I mentioned in my earlier blog, the Applications Folder, Gallery, Settings, N-Gage, Share Online, Web, Tools Folder and finally Music Folder.

Again, this applications are free to download in there respective web sites. More applications to be featured in my next blog guys c", Chao!

When Snow World Pump Love!!

Have you experience real snow? Perhaps not if your from the Philippines. Being a tropical country, we have not been bless to have this weather. I'm 100% sure that once or twice in your life, you wonder how it feels like holding snow and play with them, well I dread for it and when the opportunity came, I didn't let it pass.

Snow World opened at Star City last year bringing with it an opportunity to experience how it feels like with snow around you. I was very excited knowing this and that at all last, my dream came true.

As what I predicted it to be, the experience was a blast, one of a kind and fun c", The area was like a big freezer, a close room with thick walls, to prevent cold from escaping I guess. They made a small park inside with trees, bridges, slides and ice sculpture all over to heightened the illusion. It was supper cold, cool cold, snow felt soft and grainy, I even made a snow ball and throw to myself, just to know how it feels to get hit by a snow ball Hahaha?! It was short lived though, I have to leave right away because I can't stand too much cold. It took me only 10 minutes to roam around and get a heck of it. I was like trembling the whole time.

I was hoping that Star City will bring back Snow World this year in time for the Christmas Season, they know that it was a big hit then and will be again, I'll keep you posted.

Nokia N82, Love Themes Applications

Its been a week now since i bought my Nokia N82 Black and I just cant stop talking about it hehe. Anyways, got several applications installed on the phone, most of them are third party software applications while some are of Nokia. I only installed applications that were FREE, of course, that's because I cannot afford to buy those that are sold, there expensive, usually cost around $10 up and I'm more of a free person, and I enjoy freedom, I know it doesnt make sense, the keyword there is free, haha againc",

Back to applications, I like variations in my phone, so I uploaded tons of Themes in it, just have to share this tip though, themes should be installed on the phones memory and not on memory card to prevent deletion problems. Some themes that were save on memory cards cannot be remove anymore unless you took out the memory card from the phone and you cant find details of the installed theme on the memory card itself so you really cant delete it unless your a tech guy who knows a lot about programs and files. This happend on my sisters Nokia 6120 Classic, a Symbian 60 phone. Anyways, since I'm fun of Themes, I installed a Themes icon and save it on the root folder. Unlike the Nokia 6120 classic, Nokia N82 was not bless to contain such icon on the menu. This would save me times if I am to change my Theme, I don't have to press 6 times for me to rich the themes setting, with the icon installed, I will only have to press twice.

Themes icon can be downloaded free form this site.. http://www.neuvex.com/products/themeslauncher/
Another way to bring back themes icon was cited by Arman of Everything N95. He based this process on a Nokia N95 but will also works with Nokia N82. Go to Menu>tools>utilities>device manager. You'll see your firmware version and device updated. Press right and youll see no server profiles defined, press options and create a new profile, and create a profile. Just name anything you want and just put in any password. make sure that your profile is saved when you exit. Press options and start configurations without connection, go to Menu>applications and you ll see the themes icon.

Back to Themes, there were hundreds of free themes to download over the web and they never run out of something new. Visit the following sites;

1. Mobile9.com
2. Mmcforums.net
3. Ownskin.com
4. Mauikek.com/?page_id=29
5. Bandezthemes.com
6. Babinokia.com
7. Pizero.net

More applications on my next Blog guys and galsc",

Samsung World Ends

Fellow Bloggers, I'm affirming my call again to junk Samsung products. Remember my past blog regarding Samsung's vulnerable mobile phones, now our Samsung TV is acting weird also and I bought this just 8 months ago. We are starting to experience banging sounds while watching TV specially when it shift to commercials in between shows. Are this things coincidence, answer is NO, their is really something wrong with Samsung products in general.

Interesting facts came up as I investigate on this incidents further. When I have my sisters Samsung E250 fixed, I got an interesting confession from a worker of Samsung service center here in the Philippines. They told me that Samsung's mobile LCD and Flex nowadays are thinner and very vulnerable to breakage. Yes, you heard it right and I heard it loud and clear, they even told me that poor materials are used in this phones and who knows more of this products than this service center people? Their not even using Samsung mobile phones themselves, how ironic is that?

I really cant imagine myself buying another Samsung product again, this is to much mockery of my right to own quality products that's worth the price I payed for. I worked hard for every penny I earned and I don't deserve low grade products in exchange to this. I will surely be an advocate to campaigning against Samsung, I cant afford seeing other people falling for this trap, never ever. Expect more of this topics in my future blog. People, be aware, DON'T BUY SAMSUNG!

Love Malls, Greenbelt The Next Episode

We will continue our stint with Greenbelt Mall with a flare of robust images. This images by the way was taken from a Nokia 6120 Classic, a 2 megapixel camera phone. Their not that good and not that bad either but beaming with pride. I already have Nokia N82 Black as right now, expect better quality images in my future post.

Greenbelt 2, situated on the southwest part, just in conjuction with Greenbelt 3, this mall is specialized for food and breverage. Most of the restaurants here have foreign ambiance and delicacies, intended for tourist and some Class A, B and C crowd and sadly I still dont belong here hehehe.

Greenbelt 2's hallway showing one of the malls restaurant, Cena. The hallway is flooded with tables and chairs, cautioning people not to stroll around the place, for hungry mobs only.

And finally, Greenbelt 1. This is the malls facade under repair, undergoing renovations during my visit here. They must have realized how old their mall had become and it doesn't complement with the sourrounding malls being connected to Greenbelt 2 and Greenbelt 5. Intended for the mass market though. My place.

Greenbelt 1's hallway, still with a flare of natural light utilization just like the sorrounding malls. Energy saving at its best.

Hallway part 2, look at how well lighted this place is and still using natural light. This is the food alley of the mall with foreign themed coffee shop inset.

Main Lobby of the mall on panorama. Not impress with the scenery, very common and dry, maybe eacause it have pass through time being the oldest among the Greenbelts.

The mall has 4 movies houses to boast, whats best in this cinemas, tickets are affordable and you'll enjoy sorround sounds and comfty seats. Did I watch Hancock here, secret! c",

Mall is boring without this place. Time Zone, Its got several games on the list enjoying a big place to utilized. Fun!

Greenbelt is an awesome place to visit, its one big mall divided into 5 parts, separated by class and crowd. But my feature of this mall does not end here, I'm saving the best for last. Watch out for it, soon.

Love To Honor; Nokia 6233

I believe this is the best time for me to share my gratitude with the longest mobile phone that served me, the Nokia 6233. I'm a proud owner of this phone, a living witness to its durability, credence and par excellent features.

I got this phone 2 years ago, free from Smart Communication, Philippines leading mobile phone network. It was among the mobile phones offered in Plan Php1,200.00 and my only choice since the other phone offered in the bracket was Sony Ericsson K608 and my brother already owns one. I have no idea what the phone was capable of yet when I ordered it, not until I search its full specification on the web. I can still remember how excited I became after knowing the features of the phone. 3G phone, one of the few devices to offer such feature that time, 256thousand color screen, 2 megapixel camera, MP3 and Video player, FM Radio and most of all Memory Card slot. Just a thought of being able to own one, gives me thrills, and so when the a call came informing me to get the unit, I rush downtown without blinking c",

I can still remember how it feels like holding it for the first time, coming from an O2 Xphone, the device just feels different, it feels light, very sturdy, indestructible, i felt very satisfied, very happy. After I played with it for awhile, I was even impress more, the icons and graphics looks great, the interface in user friendly, the MP3 player sounds great and best of all the loudspeaker is loud, very loud. I was then downloading tons of stuff from wallpapers, themes, games etc. without any glitz, it soared through. Right from then, I knew I made the right choice, the best choice.

For the next few months, I made few free fall c", (I'm a clumsy person, haha) but it feared from all those abuse, it never failed me once, not even a single repair. A good, good thing, the best thing.

Unfortunately I have to upgrade, I believe it's time for me honor and rest my Nokia 6233 in peace. I am now using Nokia N82 Black, its the most incredible phone in the world right now, the only phone worthy of replacing Nokia 6233, my best beloved phone.

iPhone 3G and Globe

Globe Telecom, the second biggest mobile service provider in the Philippines will introduce iPhone 3G today. iPhone 3G is twice as fast as the original iPhone with a built-in GPS for expanded location-based mobile services, and iPhone 2.0 software which includes support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and runs hundreds of third party applications available through the new App Store.

Globe will be offering special post paid plans that will allow consumers to experience the exciting features of iPhone 3G. These special plans will come with free local mobile internet hours and free Wi-Fi browsing hours (in areas covered by Globe Wireless Internet Zones). This, together with Globe’s call and text rates, ensures excellent connectivity. iPhone 3G will also be available on existing Globe tariff plans.

iPhone 3G operates on Wi-Fi, EDGE and 3G networks to give the best e-mail, web browsing, search and maps applications for a mobile phone. 3G provides the subscriber faster access to the Internet as well as the capability to transmit and receive data in various forms such as photos, video and audio.

Question now is, was the iPhone and Globe combination made a stir all over the country being announced a month ago? Answer is, a big NO, a mere fact that iPhone is an expensive device, cost at around Php47,000 for 16GB and Php37,000 for 8GB, this wont really capture majority of Filipino mobile market. It has also been known that this device is just a plane hype and their was really nothing inside it. Feature wise, it has a poor camera, no video recorder, poor music sound, cannot send MMS, poor bluetooth connectivity, poor battery life, texting is difficult (knowing how important texting is among Filipinos) among others. You can't even count on iPhone online stores to download softwares and music files because its not available in this country. What more can a Filipino do with this device? nothing more.

We have to sight also the fact that iPhone has been the most well clone device in the country, with clones that looks very similar to the original one, it has lost its shining prestige with a notion that if you own one, your just among those people who own the clone. That's why Smart Communications, the leading mobile service provider in the country, have no moves in getting the iPhone to be part of their portfolio, because they know that this phone wont sell in the local market and there making the SMARTEST choice.

Nokia N82 Photos

Good Day Amigos, Amigas c",

I have some good photos taken from my new Nokia N82 Black.

The camera is the main feature and the selling point of this device as it carries a powerful CMOS 5 megapixel camera sensor, a world renowned Carl Zeiss Optics with Tessar Lens, an ARM 11 355MHz processor, an ultra bright Zenon flash, an Autofocus and a whole lot more, this became the perfect ingredients for bagging TIPA's most coveted award as The Best Mobile Imaging Device for 2008 . TIPA (Technical Image Press Association) is Europe's largest photo and imaging press association and they been honoring the best camera devices for quite sometime now.

I was really amaze by the clearness and crispness of this photos, the color contrast are just perfect, the brightness and everything. I have this photos taken in Automatic mode since I still have to learn the full capability of the camera's features, some tweaks and tricks on taking good still images among others. I'm not a professional photographer but I love photography and as I far as I'm concern, to the best of my knowledge, this was the best camera I've used so far either that be a professional or a mobile camera.

Behold, Nokia N82 Images!

This is the hallway along Greenhills Mall, San Juan Philippines. I like visiting this place every time I'm in Mega Manila. You can find lots of good buys here, cheap prices in almost all of the items sold from clothes, shoes, jewelries, gadgets among others. I like the gadget zone, they usually have the newest items on sale.

Where would I head over to try the best and the most advance mobile camera but to the best and most advance theatre in the country. The IMAX theater over at SM Mall of Asia, Pasay, Philippines, the 3rd biggest mall in the world. Coke sponsored this theater, so Coke is all over the place.

And after all the the strolling and walking, I head over to the best thing to do when I'm hungry. Eat
!! The brownies taste great by the way, left part of the center basket. I still have to learn about micro modes so this is a plane snap shot with no effects c",

You will definitely encounter more photos in this blog from my newest lover, Nokia N82 haha, though my next few blogs still features photos from my old phones, Nokia 6233 and Nokia 6120 Classic, but I guess you can recognize the difference between them.

Nokia N82 Rocks!
