Vertu Ascent Ferrari GT, On The Shelves

A suppose to be 2011 second quarter release premium phone Vertu Ascent Ferrari GT made it way first on Philippine stores, cloned!

Inspired by the equally high-end Italian cars, the Vertu Ascent Ferrari GT has a body made of forged titanium with a matte black PVD finish and will cost thousands of dollars was skinned down and copied, Chinese style, costing only PhP3,500 with a dual SIM capability.

It wasn't very GT-ish though compared to the original, the front looks very different but the phone looks shinny enough to attract with a leather-ish and metallic back cover.

The rest of the features of the original Vertu Ascent Ferrari GT includes a 2" QVGA screen and a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with a LED flash. There's a 3G with HSDPA and A-GPS with navigation software and preoloaded maps. The Vertu trademark high-performance 11x15mm stereo speakers are also present.

Vertu Constellation Quest Gold Edition Now Being Sold In The Philippines



They did it again! The recently announced premium mobilephone Vertu Constellation Quest is now being sold in the outskirts of Cagayan De Oro City, Philippines, CLONED!

That’s quite a fleet to beat, it’s the second time around that a recently announced mobilephone made it its way to the Chinese cloners first and sell them before the original phone.

The Vertu Constellation Quest is the newest member of the premium luxury line of mobile devices made by Nokia under the Vertu brand. It’s the very first device to carry a QWERTY keypad, Document Editor and 5 MP camera toppled with the best connectivity features and the top of the line Symbian User Interface.

Did you know that the cloned version also sports a leather back cover just line the original?

The phone have no price yet at the moment and will be released last quarter this year while the clone cost only PhP2,500.
