Joining the growing list of Premium Nokia Symbian devices is the Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type Gold Edition. The phone is wrapped in a classy 18-carat gold plating with a ceramic-feel keymat and a gold theme to match it up.
Just like its predecessor, the phone also runs a Symbian 40 interface contoured for touch, a quadband radio and up to HSDPA data speeds alongside WiFi and Bluetooth, 2.4 inches screen, 5MP camera among the rest of the predecessors key features.
But the new phone will be powered by a 1GHz processor making it a super fast device when it comes to performance.
On board, is the Nokia Messaging for email and IM functionality and Nokia Communities for checking into Facebook and Twitter, Ovi Store for downloading extra apps and games, and the Nokia Series 40 browser, for fast web access without high data use charges.
The Nokia C3-01 Gold Edition has already started shipping in selected markets, Eastern European and Middle Eastern specifically, and will cost around €220 (PhP13,451) before local taxes or operator subsidies. Not a bad price for a powerful and premium device.
