Few days ago I made a brief review on the movie Wanted, a box office action pack, visual rich, effects full movie featuring the gorgeous Angelina Jolie and the frantic James McAboy. Not only that the movie showcase powerful cast and stunts but also showed powerful Nokia mobile devices. A massive campaign made by the leading mobile company in the world to introduce their phone to the most diverse market in the world, United States of America. Earlier than this, Nokia phones made also a brief screen appearance in this years biggest movie blockbuster, The Dark Knight.
In this movie, 3 phones have been featured. The very first device was the Nokia 8800 Arte, the most expensive phone in Nokia's current roster which is price at around $1,800 US dollars. The phone exudes a luxurious style and form factor, stainless steel outer coat, OLED screen, suited for a premium lifestyle, for the chosen few, for the rich and fortunate.
Another phone featured in the movie was Nokia 1110i, a low end phone used by James McAboy. A non colored phone with great call and text features, durability at its best with a winning form factor and price, this phone have been one of the most sold unit in Nokia's portfolio.
Last but not the list, a shining new phone used by a woman calling on the street. It was a mystery phone for me because I haven't seen it before, could it be a rumored phone soon to be release? Its silver in color so its definitely not Nokia Tube, but it surely is 100% touchscreen. Hhhhmmm? another phone to stir ciaos in the mobile world.
Nokia has really prepared something big before the year ends and it will surely rocked the mobile world and the competitors succumbed to fear.
