Part 3 Camera
The strongest selling point of Nokia N82 is the camera, no doubt, it has only the vintage 5 Megapixel Carl Zeiss with Tessar Optic Lens and Xenon Flash on board. The 5MP camera produce magnificent crisp and clear images in broad daylight while the Xenon forrays its ultrabright flash in dark and lowlight areas taking with it superb color riched and well contrasted images. It wont won the most coveted TIPA awar d for nothing.
The camera menu is divided in to two, for still images and video. The still image menu is riched with feature. In Screen Mode, you can either select Automode, the most ideal for everyday photography with settings adjusted automaticaly depending on the condition. User Define is used for personalize settings, Close Up mode is ideal for capturing intricate detail of simall object between 10-50 cm, Portrait for shooting better portrait photos, Landscape for shooting distant and allow focusing through glass. Sports scene mode is used for fast moving object in sharp detail and Night Mode for taking low light images without flash, this enhances detail in dark condition when flas of the sh cannot be used then finaly the Night Portrait mode fort taking portraits in low light without flash.
Flash is the most vital part of a camera and N82 have no less than Xenon on board. The device has a separate menu for it, you can either choose Automatic Flash mode, Flash on and Red Eye on or off.
Self timer is present also in this device. You can either set it for 2, 10 or 20 seconds. Sequence mode can be set for Single Shot, Burst, 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes or 10 minutes. Color Tone includes Normal, Sepia, Black and White, Vivid and Negative.
Show View Finder Grid, White Balance, Exposure Compensation, Sharpness, Contrast, Light Sensitivity are part of its Menu
Among all this I only tried a few yet, never really used other feature that much because Im fun of using Auto a lot. Yes I have no art and yes I dont have time to know them all.
I love the photos of N82. It feels like a pro seeing how good the resulting images are using the device. It broaden perspective, it resolute interest in the field.
