The Amazing Race US finally ended and so is my Amazing Race Day Blog Post for the moment. I'm the biggest fan of this race and have been following both the US and Asian versions.
The finale as expected was a big bang of thrill with 3 of my most preferred team competing for the grand price. I couldn't describe my excitement as Nick and Starr and Ken and Tina battled out in close proximity. The task were also very remarkable being unique and difficult. Finale challenges are often mind and memory and it did come out with racers buggling their brains for past events in the race. I have to applaud the foot race to, finding puzzling places is hard specially if you only do it on foot.
I love the finale specially the winners. Its the first time that my preferred team won, Nick and Starr. They came out very strong in the race, their quick, agile and dominant. The navigation skills just made them fall behind at first but they came out fast on the challenges thats why they pulled it over.
Ken and Tina performed well to but the age age factor came in to play thus thats why they were ran over by Nick and Starr. The dominant personality of Tina became a problem to because it refrain Ken from doing the best possible moves. Well, they make up after the race, good for them, Ken finally accepted Tina for who she was and thats unconditional love.
Dan and Andrew again fell short because of their very weak partnership and navigational skills. I couldn't nail directions because they dont ask people. It coule be that there afraid to ask direction or they just dont think. They have no game plan, no tactics and no perseverance. There racing to win, there racing to travel and see places. I still like them though, they screwed a lot and that makes them funny.
Im so looking forward fot the next race. I know it will take some time I guess because the Asian version just ended up just 2 weeks ago, but then its worth the wait.
Till then friends!
