Yeah I know, Nokia E71 is already history being release like 3 months ago and have already been winning almost every awards in the the mobile world, my feature of it will just be irrelevant knowing that you knew everything abou it but what a heck, I just want to feature this great device on the greatest blog in the world, in my opinion.
My thoughts on E71, as if you care, haha, I find the device very attractive. The form looks great, very solid and classy built quality, the querty keypad is amazing, never used one before, it would be a welcome change for heavy texter like me but with all this in tow, the device really didn't capture my attention.
It would have been a good phone to own but its multimedia feature was its biggest drawback. Im a heavy media user, watching videos, playing games, listening to music, taking pictures etc., this phone just couldn't satisfy all those. E71's audio quality is just average, it has Real Player like other Nseries device but the screen made it sub pas and flash lite 3 is nowhere to be find so it cannot play good quality youtube videos. N-Gage is definitely not supported, 3D graphic accelerator is not found among others. Camera is only 3.2 MP that takes average picture and a heartbreaking 15 frames per minute.
Other than the media drawbacks on E71, everything else is at its best. Web browsing is fast, Email services were provided, Quick Office, etc.
This phone would definitely be the perfect reliever device if I get bored with my beloved Nokia N82. I seriously consider buying this phone if my budget permits me.
