The hottest buzz that came this week in the mobile world was the announcement of Nokia's flagship Touch, the N97. Super hot that it was the topic in almost all mobile website in the world deflaging its top noched feature, powerful specs and eye candy design. You cant really find any floss on it, a perfect phone, in my opinion. I even consider it as the best designed and the most compact phone in the history of Nokia.
If I am to rank the features that I like on this phone, the very first on the list would be the design. I find it sexy, sleek and inviting. The form factor of screen slide up and tilt is just a killer, I havent remember any phone that carries a "hold me" aura with just looks alone, this phone has it, simply amazing, hats down to the designers!
Next on the list would be the QUERTY keyboard, I haven't use it before and since I'm a heavy texter, this would help me a lot. I'm also using my phone sometimes when I write posts, this would bring comfort to my blogging experience. If you remember my post 4 days ago, the very reason why I consider buying E71 as an alternative phone was because of its QUERTY keyboard, well this has it and its a high end Nseries.
3rd on the rank was the Touch User Interface, I have been wanting to savor this interface long before and been waiting for the right device that will satisfy the crave and the N97 fulfill those needs. It has the fastest and the most user friendly touch interface in the market and its S60, the most powerful UI in the world that can give me the best softwares that can enhance my mobile experience.
4th the hardware, being an Nseries phone, it will carry the vintage and award winning specs of Nokia, the 5MP Carl Zeiss optics with Tessar Lens, Autofocus, Dual LED Flash, although I prefer Xenon, Huge power source amounting to 1,500 mAh, GPS Receiver, Bluetooth, Wifi, Edge, 16 million bright LCD color screen, FM Transmitter, FM Stereo with RDS, TV out, 3.5mm Audio Jack and multisensors like Accelerometer, Proximity sensor and newest technology on mobile, the Digital Compass. Most of all, it will contain a biggest Internal Memory of 32GB, the very first in the market. It will also carry the fastest processor which can reach a top speed of 7.2gH, more likely same to that of a any typical desktop or notebook computer.
Lastly, bundled softwares were among the best on the market, the greatly improved S60 Touch OS v9.4 that supports personalize standby screen icon and faster interface navigation, Share Ovi, new Facebook, Nokia Maps 3.0 Touch with Assisted GPS, Flashlight 3 for Youtube viewing, Nokia Sports Tracker, the newest QuickOffice version, Nokia Vine, Nokia Email Service, Nokia Bar Code Reader and last but not the least, the Nokia NGage that brings the best mobile games in the world and tons of exclusive Nokia services and softwares.
N97 is said to be the most advance mobile device at the moment, a new bar setter. I know I'm going to buy this device when it comes out, no holds bared, not even the price! c", I just wish it would be release on the planned date, april to june 2009, it will be perfect to replace my beloved 5 months old N82 by that time.
FYI: I wont buy 5800 anymore, I mentioned in my blog yesterday that im buying it, not anymore, I'll wait for N97 and enjoy my N82 as of the moment. My brother will still buy it anyway so no hard feeling Nokia. ;-)
