Nokia 5530 XpressMusic Chronicle: Bi-Fold Leather Case ~ SCRATCH e-PAD!

It's human nature that every time we consider things valuable, we ought to protect whatever it is and my 5530 XpressMusic is nothing different in the matter, so looking for ways to safeguard it is inevitable. The result, a hefty Bi-Fold Leather case that covers the entire phone except the front screen for touch.

Brought this for about 2 weeks now in eBay.ph from a refutable seller with the name dongv for PhP490 plus PhP150 for postage and handling so it ain't just caper for nothing but a serious stand, c", that's how freaky I am when it comes to taking care of things and love ones, yikes!

The case was a Bi-Fold, in other words, a Folder like design that is wrap with Leather on the outside and have a plastic grip pasted securely on the rear. What I love about the case was its ability to wrap the entire phone particularly the battery cover at the back since the material use, being pure plastic, is prone to scratch. Important buttons were left open on the sides including the camera lens at the back. It also increases the phones thickness thus making it more favorable to use and to sleeve down in the pocket since it will be noticeable when capped down. I have this tendency to freak out when I could not feel the phone inside my pocket, so the bulge eases me out.

Having a leather cover also decreases the impact during accidental fall thus preventing screen breakage among other incidents. Its a given fact that touchscreen phones are more vulnerable to this incidents having wide working screens with less supporting frames. I hope this wont happen to my beloved phone in the future. hah!

Things I don't like about the case, the quality and the way its made. I have tried other Bi-Fold case before and this is the most worst. The clip that encloses the case is flabby, its not well enclose having only a magnet to lock the case and exudes a loose and baggy impression overall. Worst I have found a good Bi-Fold for the phone in one of the local store here a week after and its cheaper and holds up tightly. Oh well, at least I have learn my lesson, not to buy any product from that buyer again.
