Well, if you didn't know, my most talked about phone on Twitter, the Nokia N97 Mini have now landed on the Philippine shores! Yes! Finally, after almost 2 months of tireless waiting, the phone is finally here and its here to stay. Nokia Philippines confirmed that the phone is starting to roll over there Flagship Stores all over the country with a tag price of PhP28,900, a few hundred bucks cheaper than the N97 which is being sold currently at PhP29,800. Not bad at all, factor out the Initial Hype Introductory price in 2 weeks time or more and the N97 Mini will be within PhP27,000 range.
I was really worried about the price of the phone before as it will cost higher than the Nokia N97 since its Europe price was around 450Euro before tax and subsidies, that will be more than PhP32,000 when converted which is about PhP5,000 higher than its elder brother, plus the fact also that the hype introductory factor would come into play that is why I was preparing myself to buy the N97 instead, but then I was wrong, thank God, the device was tag lower, though not that much for now.
Figure this out, it's cheaper than N97 but a mile better when it comes to built quality, User Interface's responsiveness and stability, bigger RAM and QWERTY keypad, less Memory, less FM transmitter and smaller screen size, so its quite a good deal. Besides, I find the N97 bigger anyway against my petite hands so the N97 Mini rather suites me best. Christmas will be long enough before I buy one, unless serious events happen in between. Yikes, never been so excited in my entire mobilephone life. c",
Anyways if your planning to buy a new phone, Nokia N97 Mini is the best deal you can get when your into touchscreen phones, its cheaper yet can deliver monstrous features more than any other phone can do, that is definitely not hype driven but more of worthiness, go check it out!
The E72 is also widely available now, it cost at around PhP20,400 on eBay.ph, mobile shop price will also be within the range I believe. E72 carries the world renowned E71 form factor and feature plus add on specs such as 5MP camera and optical scroll, a worthy successor. The Nokia 523o XpressMusic is also in the house, cost at around PhP10,250, another cut off version on the 5800 XpressMusic but without WIFI, the white version is a beauty and it will also have a replaceable back cover.
Other stellar entry is the Nokia 6760 Slide, the unique looking QWERTY slider that carries an high end S60 specs, cost at around PhP12,350.00, then finally, the Nokia X3, the rebranded version of XpressMusic line up which cost at around PhP7,850.00. Go choose!
