Excerpts Saturday! Pinoy Conspiracy Theory

I just have a small funny thought, we were taking an afternoon snack as a result of not doing anything out of a National Holiday with a pig pie and a Milo as a drink when I remember a conspiracy when I was young, that Milo and Ovaltine, both chocolate drinks, were said to made out of worms, grind and soaked dry by the heat of the sun. Most of our worms here were brownish, very much like the color of the powdered drink, so it take me no less than a minute to believe that eventually resulted to a year or two of avoiding the said drink. c", Who would have thought of spreading that said rumor before, he/she must have been a huge hater of chocolate drinks. Spare me for the nonsense here but what if its really true that this drinks were really made of worms, would that affect its overall appeal now, not to me as long as it taste great.

Another funny Pinoy conspiracy is related to Vetsin, a food seasoning, it was said to be made of human teeth and bones and that this where specifically collected from the cemetery or funeral homes. c", As far as I can remember, my grandmother refuses to use vetsin and gets angry seeing one in the house because of this hearsay and we kinda inherit this notion as well until now, we don't use this food seasoning and it seemed that my grandmother was right all along as vetsin is now being regarded as unhealthy.

Are you fun of eating Hotdog? I knew a few who don't eat one because it's said to be made up of Dog meat. Yikes! They must be dog lovers or something that's why they don't eat one and I haven't tried rather but one thing is for sure, I love Hotdog with Longanisa and Cheese! Yum!

Then the most gruesome I believe of all theories which might be true, that canned goods such as Corned Beefs, Beef Loafs, "Maling" and Meat Loafs where partly made of Rat and Cat meats specifically those that were imported from China. eeiks! No wonder why imported Chinese canned goods taste different. Haha! Are they, really?

Well, most of the theories mentioned except the last one were not true of course, every normal adult knows that Milo and Ovaltine were made of Cocoa and Malt, Vetsin were from sugarcane and hotdogs from pork meat. The canned goods, I have a strong suspicion because its specifically imported from China, the most notorious country in faking everything. We cannot confirm this of course so the best thing we could do is to shy away from them.
