Nokia Messaging is an easy-to-use messaging service made available on a special data plan to SMART subscribers beginning September 2009. Initially, that PhP299 monthly plan was offered to Nokia E75 users. In November 2009, the special data plan was made available to existing Nokia users with compatible Nokia Messaging devices. Interested parties would just have to visit the nearest Smart Wireless Center to have their account activated. 
Beginning February 25, 2010, subscription to Nokia Messaging has been made easier! Smart Gold and Smart Buddy subscribers can subscribe to the various Nokia Messaging Plans available by choosing which plan they want to avail of: DAY at P35/day, WEEK at P199/week, and MONTH at P299/month. Nokia Messaging gives you unlimited access to your Ovi Mail™, Yahoo!®Mail, Gmail™, and Windows Live ™ Hotmail® accounts. Delivery of emails is automatic via Push Email and you can receive attachments of up to 5MB per email.
The Nokia Messaging Plan is available on Nokia E75, Nokia E72, Nokia E71, Nokia E66, Nokia E63, Nokia E52, Nokia E51, Nokia N97, Nokia N97 Mini, Nokia N96, Nokia N86 8MP, Nokia N85, Nokia N79, Nokia 5800 Xpress Music, Nokia 5630 Xpress Music, Nokia 5530 Xpress Music, and Nokia 5230.
