Nokia X5-01

Nokia launch a new member of their Music optimized devices at the Nokia Connections 2010 event in Singapore, the Nokia X5-01, a square shape QWERTY slider uniquely different from the typical Nokia range. It looks more like an MP3 player rather than a mobile phone because of its square shape.

The Nokia X5 primarily targets the teen market with its hip and cool visage, who wouldn't want a stylish phone to carry around that express youthful individuality, the X5 lauds it more than any other phone in the market at the moment.

The phone boasts its Music features primarily its the excellent sound quality, dedicated music keys, loud speakers, Playlist DJ application, the spin to switch to a new random track feature, capability to share Playlist and Radio Stations to others, 24 hours Music playtime, Comes with Msic feature in selected markets among others.

The X5 also have a strong social connectivity features like the Wi-Fi, 3.5G HSPA and Bluetooth 2.1. The device supports all the major IM and webmail services out of the box and offers easy access to major social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and Hi5.

Nokia X5-01 runs Symbian S60 3rd edition with a 2.36-inch display. It has a decent 5MP Camera with single LED flash and Flash Lite 3 for viewing youTube videos. The device is said to launch in Q3, at an estimated retail price of EUR 165 before taxes and subsidies.
