Cherry Mobile Phones Hitting Up

A year ago when I see Cherry Mobile phones, my reaction would automatically be, “Clone! Run away!”, but my perception changed, for awhile they have been offering good phone packages at a very, very mass friendly price. It’s like giving a chance for everyone to enjoy modern mobilephone technology eliminating the price snag, true to their marketing logo “Value your lifestyle”.

Having to offer low priced phones would mean, something has to be given up and that is built quality. Most of their phones would not last long with more or less one year longevity but at least users can still enjoy features that they can only dream off on premium phones. People doesn't seemed to care about this issue rather as very much seen on my recent trip to Cagayan De Oro City were they've been lining up on the mobilephone's flagship store in Limketkai Center to grab one. Price is the key!

For instance the T8 PRO cost only PhP4,290 but users get to enjoy a Slider QWERTY phone with 3.0” Touch User Interface, Analog TV, Java, Bluetooth, 2MP Camera, Dual SIM/Standby, MMS/WAP/GPRS, Wireless FM, Micro SD of up to 8GB and complete Multimedia Player. Add PhP700 and you a QWERTY Monobloc, same specs T8 except that it has a Triple SIM/Standby, a recording on the Analog TV, Dual Camera, Touchpad and WIFI on Q300 Trident. I call this phone the best package in the bunch.

From offering proprietor OS, they have evolved to offering premium OS’s at a low price, Eclipse 1, 2 and Pro have Windows Mobile 6.5 while Nova and Magnum HD have Adroid Éclair and Froyo respectively. They even have an Android Froyo tablet, the Superion that offers competitive hardware and feature but sold half the price to the leading Android Tablet at the moment.
