Nokia CTO Rich Green made mention in his speech at the recently concluded Nokia’s Developer Day a successor of the highly regarded Nokia N900, the Nokia N950, a Meego running smartphone which gives a blip sign of life for the operating system.
No technical specifications mentioned on the speech but rumor has it that the phone will be getting an ARM Cortex 1.2 GHz processor, 12 Megapixel Carl Zeiss camera, New generation LED flash, 1GB of ROM and 768MB of RAM, 4inches CBD AMOLED screen and 190 million polygons per second gaming graphics.
I do hope the Nokia N950 could break some grounds when it comes later this year so the Operating System could fully take off. I would love to see the sleek User Interface of the early versions captured on video on a powerful hardware mastered Nokia device.
