Another amazing application created by the talented people behind Nokia Research Center is the Nokia Sleeping Screen that will decorate beautiful crafted images on the phones screen saver mode.
I tried it and it was beautiful! I'm a type of person who want's everything around me to be electric and lively and this application satisfy that craving. For Nokia Betalabs to come up with the idea to tweak the bland screen saver of a phone is a very clever.... brilliant idea.
Aside from this, the application also shows missed calls, unread text messages, and reminders presented in icons and live animations without affecting the phones battery operating time.
The applications main features:
* Personalization by selecting the appearance of the phone.
* Time & date always visible with a glimpse of the phone.
* Rich visual notifications of missed calls, sms, and calendar events.
* Night clock mode setting to dim the appearance for night period.
* Very clear battery charging indication with animation.
* Low power consumption, descreased even further by turning screen off when phone is covered, for example in a bag or your pocket
The application is available for Symbian^3 phones, such as C6-01, C7-00, N8-00, and E7-00. Nokia Sleeping Screen has been verified on latest S^3 SW versions and is known to work with the latest Qt versions 4.6.4 and 4.7.2.
