Nokia launches a 15Euro ($20/PhP800) mobilephone, The Nokia 105

Nokia unveiled the Nokia 105, a budget mobilephone being pointed towards first-time buyers that features high quality handset design and everyday essentials like FM radio, a speaking clock and flashlight..


With a dust- and splash-proof keymat and superior battery life that can exceed one month in between charges, the Nokia 105 also serves as a reliable back-up phone. It can be used in situations when people prefer to leave their smartphone at home.

Bold color and essential tools

Featuring a 1.45-inch true color screen with a user-friendly interface, the single SIM Nokia 105 comes with productivity and leisure tools like:

• FM radio, up to five pre-loaded games, multiple alarm clock capabilities, a speaking clock and flashlight
• The Nokia Life service for tips on education and health, as well as entertainment topics
• Standby time: up to 35 days
• Talk time: up to 12.5 hours

The Nokia 105 is available in black and cyan, will start rolling out in Q1 and will be available in China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Russia, Vietnam and other markets in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Middle East.

Nokia Life is available in India, China, Indonesia, Nigeria and soon in Kenya.
