American Idol 8 Finale, American Idol Sucks!!

Well, well, well, its a wraps for now on to my American Idol Season 8 blog round ups, maybe this is going to be my last post about the show because I'm getting a life now hehehe, seriously, I'm not featuring the show anymore because I'm starting to hate it. Its failure to deliver great talents to victory is the main reason behind this and America doesn't know how to choose raw talents. I think Simon needs to quit the show because nobody in America listens to him anymore. Did you see his reaction when Kris Allen was called as the winner, he didn't even stand to recognize Kris, hahaha, poor guy, the legendary Simon Cowell hates him and so are the mainstream media who wants Adam Lambert to win.

In my early post, booth of them was my beat and so were Allison, Megan, Matt and Anoop but what I hate about the result was that, its very obvious that Adam was mile more talented than Kris and that matters to me because its a talent show and not a popularity culture clash show. Oh well, the show was going down anyway so this is a big farewell party victory. I'm not going to watch the show anymore and America sucks, all hail to the metal rockers!!

American Idol 8: Semi-Final Round Up

Performance Night:

Round 1

Danny Gokey - Dance Little Sister
Second to the worst performance in the history of American Idol, last week was the the champ in the category. It seemed like he was not sure with what his doing and he is not comfortable with it. A big hooray to the haters and to me, my ears were even flapping out of happiness, sorry Gokey fans.

Kris Allen - Apologies
Not a great performance. Its kinda sound like an amateur rendition to me. He didn't do something great on it like change the arrangement or something. In short, it wasn't a Kris performance that I'm used to.

Adam Lambert - One
Okay I'm not a U2 fan and I find U2 songs boring and that's why I find Adam Lambert's performance good but not as great as his past performances. It was out of touch night for him because I couldn't connect with the song and the arrangement was dismal. He would have changed the arrangement and make it his own but I doubt if Simon will be pleased because its his favorite song and he loves U2, groose!

Winner: Adam Lambert

Round 2

Danny Gokey - You Are So Beautiful
I thought it was a good song of choice but because I hate Danny big time, it just didn't matter and again its my worsiest performance of the round. I've never been so annoyed with an American Idol contestant before, only Danny. Maybe its because of the dead wife, he vehemently used his wife's memory just to score sympathy and made it this far, horrible.

Kris Allen - Heartless
It was a good rendition but unfortunately I hate the song, and yes my blog today officially became a hate blog. It was the typical Kris performance that I like ever since and he pulled it over smoothly.

Adam Lambert - Cryin'
I find the song better than the first, I love Aerosmith, but again the arrangement was another off steam because its a fast beat song and it seemed like he was confused as to how he can squeeze all his style in just a minute and forty performance.

Winner: Kris Allen

Elimination Night:

A strong finished for Kris Allen as he was saved first then seconds later, Adam and my most awaited moment in the season, Danny's farewell video. Its been long due after all the hate mails and comments made by American Idol experts and fanatics.

I believe though that Kris wasn't the real contestant who got the highest vote because everybody just want Danny to go and so they voted for Kris and so were Adam fans who doesn't want to go head to head with Danny strong following on the finale. Kris doesn't have a strong following like Adam and I believe it will be an easy win for the Glamour Rocker.

American Idol Top 4 Round Up

Performance Night:

Great night overall, the fact that its a classic rock theme and I love rock music and heavy metal kind of stuff, Danny Gokey, my most hated American Idol this season made a blatant growling tone and became the biggest mess in the competitions history. It was jerky and spooky at the same time, and worst, he seem to be very proud of it. Haha, what a loser!

Anyways, my 3 remaining beats made a good performance last night starting with Adam Lambert. I was waiting for him to sing a heavy metal, head banging song and he did by rendering a Led Zeppelin classic. Thought I wish he made an act out of it not just standing infront of the mic, I mean roll over and conquer the stage kind of performance that rockers do, still, thanks for bringing Zeppelin out.

With Allison's performance, I thought it was good, she is a born rock chick and she showed all of it except that she was seemingly nervous during the performance, pressure maybe because everybody expected here to do great because its her night and since she is new to this kind of things, it eat her performance a bit but then overall she rocks the night away.

Kris Allen choose a song that suits him best and I appreciate that in contrast to the judges foul comments against his performance. This judges were a big mess sometimes, they keep telling contestants to be true to themeselves and Kris just did that during the performance night by ressurecting a Beatle song that feats his genre and yet their criticizing it. Confussion on the loose.

Elimination Night:

America just made the biggest mistake ever in American Idol history, letting go of a huge talent and keeping a douchebag around. Do they have enough problems already?

The talent of course was none other than Allison Iraheta who was eliminated this week after several rounds of incredible performance while the douchebag was this years VoteForTheWorse.com's (VFTW) choice Danny Gokey. The VFTW is celebrating right now because there beat was not eliminated last night although almost with Him and Allison on the bottom 2. I love the group, they seemed to be the only people in America that makes sense this days.

Okey for those who didn't know, VFTW is a group of anti-American Idol individuals who nominates a contestant that suck big time and campaign fo him to win so it will add to American Idol's winners list of fatality for not being able to break in to industry after the competition. I would say that they've been successful in their campaign because out of the 7 winners, only one made a big splash so far. Cheers!

Well as I always say, American Idol is going down and I predict it will only be good for one more year specially if Danny Gokey wins this year. Rant!

American Idol 8 Top 5 Round Up

Performance Night:

I was a bit bored with the theme, Rat Pack, somewhat like living in the sink or underwater drainage kind of music nowadays because its totally unknown and bromidic, thanks to the performances of Kris Allen and Adam Lambert, they have at least save the night away.

The whole family is routing for Adam now while my vote is divided equally on my four beats. Yes I was worried about Matt and Allison's performance simply because the judges were not to happy with it while the dreadful Danny Gokey garnered an edge, well not to me, I was completely drab by it and I can't seemed to stand by his performances. We usually change the channel when Gokey performed hehe, that's how dreadful he was. Keeping my finger cross, he must go.

Elimination Night:

Wow, Shocking!! American Idol did it again as it manipulate the biggest and the most hideous result night in the season, Adam Lambert was drag down to the bottom 3 which sent a shock wave to the whole American Idol community. How can the most watched contestant this season became one of the least voted when majority of the audience loves his performance every week?

I smell a scheme going on just for the show to gain momentum and traction from the losing audience share. Its very obvious that they just made this up and instead of gaining excitement on it, I think they'll end up losing more viewers since it just proves that American Idol is nothing but a mere soap opera with all the drama going on and not a talent competition. Well, I might not be watching the show next season because I also found out that its getting worse every year. I also remember the same scenario before when they sent David Cook to the bottom 3 last year for the same reason. Very Lame!!

The talented Matt Giraud was sent home, sad but American have spoken and believe they have a serious problem of insanity by keeping Danny Gokey in the competition. Hmm, must have something to do with the recession, it somehow clouded their judgement big time.

Oh well, I still have 3 of my beats on the final four. I was opting for an Adam vs Kris, Allison vs Kris, Kris vs Allison or Adam vs Allison finale and I hope America would agree with me. American Idol is all about talent and artistry and they must bring this back to the pedestal by choosing the most talented and the most artistic contenders. America should not fail like its Economy.

American Idol 8 Round Up

Performance Night:

The performance night was one of the best show ever in Season 8. I thought it was a major brag at first having no idea what era the Theme was and what song where referred to as Disco. My current idea about it was that its a fast electronic beat like Boom Boom Pow kind of thingy but I perceive it incorrectly, it was an old circa that drag my excitement down further. Big thanks to the renditions of the Top 7, my idea of it have change 360 degrees particularly the performance of Adam Lambert and Kris Allen.

I believe it was an Adam Lambert's Night, performing his best rendition ever. If I Cant Have You was by mile more better than Mad World and the rest of his songs, it was actual the first time that I was able to connect emotionally to his performance, a moving performance.

Kris Allen's rendition of She Works Hard For The Money was unique and very original, an art of artistry and brilliance. I can now clearly see him joining Adam Lambert at the final showdown. He had successfully distinguish himself as real artist other than just a singer and that makes a big difference.

Going down to my other beats, Allison has a power vocal performance, she always does and she slowly groomed herself to artfulness. The transformation from a singer with good vocals to a real performer was very visible for here. It will be here biggest asset to make it to the end. Simon call him the underdog because he know that Allison's journey can be great underdog story and everyone loves Underdogs.

Anoop and Matt lost the call of stardom, Matt specially, he was among the best talent in the show but unfortunately, they have not wage extra effort to make their performances more appealing to viewers.

Elimination Night:

Elimination night was one of the most exciting night so far because two contestants will be booted out and I thought one of my beats will definitely be eliminated and it did. Anoop Desai, one of my early favorites was axed face down amidst good reviews from the judges except Simon. It was expected though because only few contestants left and most of them are talented and popular.

Lil Rounds was finally eliminated, maybe Americans have realized her suffering and finally put an end to it. She was the first one to be called and booted. The next roll call was the most unexpected because Allison was called to be one of the bottom two with Anoop Desai. She really have no viewers appeal amidst her great talent, sad but she might be ending her quest next week or two weeks from now unless people will step up for her like Miley Cyrus who made a call to everyone for votes. She needs support and she needs it badly.

That's all for now folks, more American Idol round ups next week. c",

American Idol 8: Elimination

Thoughts on the elimination round the other day... as I predicted, the bottom 3 was Matt, Anoop and Lil Rounds but what surprise me big time was Matt who received the lowest vote among the three. I believe it was Lil that should have been demise by the voters because all along she was a big mess and that she really needs to be redeem from her sufferings.

Matt have been doing more better than her in terms of delivering good performances and he needs to be credited for that by having him stay a bit longer than Lil Rounds. What wrong with Americans now a days, they seemed to lost the value of good judgment and the meaning of artistry by sticking with Lil. Wake up people and vote those who deserves to stay like Matt. I hope racism did not come to play in this competition, its because Lil was black that black Americans are oblige to vote for her, come on, a black president has already been elected so the notion of black oppression has already been cast off. Black Americans should vote for the deserving contestants and not because she's black.

Matt was just lucky to have been save by the Judges, at least there were 4 people in America that have not lost there sense of taste. Anyways, the competition will be more tougher next week since the two contestants will be sent home base on the rules set when the Judges Save option was granted and I hope one of them is Lil.

Well see!!

American Idol 8: Top 7 Performance

The theme of the night was movie soundtracks and I thought I'm going to enjoy it being a movie freak but I didn't, it wasn't what I expected it be, most of the chosen songs were unpopular while those that I like were performed awfully or sang by the antagonist. I suppose there was a mixed up or something and all will fall back to where it is next week.

Most of my beats performed poorly like Matt Giraud whom I expected to give a stellar performance but his rendition of Have You Ever Love A Woman was a disaster that will definitely send him to the bottom 3 again tomorrow. This is a very important week for him if he really wanted to make it through to the Top 2 but he missed again.

Kris Allen, I like the song he chanted but it was unpopular so he might not be getting to much support for that and its his second week in a low light row. He must return the sleekness again to his performances to seal his position to top 2 and eclipse Danny Gokey. He must do it now or it will be to late for him.

Allison Iraheta got a good vibe but I don't like the song he sang so it part of the low blow this week. She really did improve a lot and I like it when the judges consider her now as the only female contender that could pull it over to the end. She deserves such recognition.

Low blow, Danny Gokey, he sang Endless Love and I like his version of the song. So that's bad news because his good song of choice and performances lower my beats chances to the top. I notice though that his popularity really dropped, good scenario here.

Time for some Good vibe, Adam Lambert made a huge impact this week with a good vocal performance. I don't like the song he sang but I like the way he own it and the energy he puts to it making it more appalling to the audience. It was a wrong choice of song but savored with the right ingredients making the performance appraising.

Anoop Desai's Everything I do was the best performance of the night for me because it fits him perfectly. The song was melodic so the soul comes out naturally within his performance. Plus the fact that I like the song also so its a 5 thumbs up for Anoop this week. Hopefully America will agree with me saving him on the bottom 3 this week.

So, who will be the bottom 3 in my prediction, Lil Rounds, yeheey, okay, didn't comment about her performance because it freaks me out and she would be exiting the competition tomorrow anyways so its not worth the space. Matt will be on the button 3 joining Lil and Anoop or Kris but I guess Kris will be save with his growing number of supporters so its LAM for tomorrow. Well See!!

A Quick Recap! American Idol 8

Just a quick recap friends, I know it's to late by now to throw a recap since the American Idol episode was shown last Wednesday and Thursday and you probably know about the result and everything already. I believe its the best option to gave way to Holy day topics since it only happens once a year and this blog was themed out of Love and what more was the greatest Love ever given, God's Love.

I did watch the Wednesday and Thursday episode of American Idol since it was shown on Star World and I have to say that the performance episode was the most heated performance night so far. Things were shaping up for some contestants while the rest was breaking into pieces. To mention the best shape up, Adam Lambert, the only contestant that's railing its way to winning while on the opposite side was Lil Rounds, the only contestant that has lost her edge as the competition progress. I've never been so happy on this situation, I've been very vocal that I don't like Lil right from the start and that goes to Danny Gokey as well.

As for my remaining beats, Anoop Desai was bouncing up and down the ledge and I'm afraid that elimination will be his next call. I wish Lil goes home early than him because he is a good singer, soulful and serene. Kris Allen's momentum was a bit cut off this week since he had a rough performance night but overall he is still making a good progress. Matt Giraud made a good impression this week as well as Alysson Iraheta, hopefully they will pull something great again next week to put a heat on Danny and Lil.

I love most of the song that was featured, they all butchered Classic songs from the year they were born expect for Alysson who was born on the 90's. One of the most stellar, in my opinion was Scott McIntyre's, The Search Is Over, I love the rendition and the arrangement but the peachy voice erks a bit that's why he was voted out this week. I will surely miss the passionate performances of Scott. Cool vibe Part Time Lover by Matt was also fantastic, I love the way he rehashed the song making it more up to date with a beat that groove and awesome vocals. Alysson's version of I Can't Make You Love Me was a bomb, I love the song and she was great and so is Anoop's version of True Colors.

The most remarkable though was Adam Lamberts interpretation of Mad World. It was one of the best rendition and vocals I've heard so far in the competition added up with dramatic illusion, making it a dynamite performance that sealed his position on the top spot eclipsing the boring, Danny Gokey. At least now I'm a bit sure that Danny will not win if he makes it to the final two because Adam will outshine him.

Okay, I downloaded most of the songs I like adding up to my ever growing American Idol 8 playlist. More to come I believe with a couple of weeks more to go before the Finals. I'll be posting my downloaded AI performance here in the coming days so keep it right here.

American Idol 8, Elimination Result

harAnother upbeat and exciting American Idol elimination last night and the house just explode to contentment as to who got eliminated. Its Michael Sarver, yehheey!!! nothing personal here, its just like I want him to be eliminated so my 6 beats can still compete to beat upside down, Danny Gokey and Lil Rounds to the finished.

I'm just worried about Matt Giraud, one of my good beats, he was one of the bottom 3 besides his good performance the other night. For America not to vote for him is a big mistake and they should realize that they've been voting for the wrong people on top specially Gokey and Rounds. I believe though that it wasn't Matt who got the lowest two votes but Scoot and Michael. Its just that Scott was blind and he needs to sit right away to sort things out easy.

Anyways, most of the winners in the show have been to the bottom 3 and I believe it will imply the same to Matt. Scott might be the next person to leavee next week to be pitted against Megan Joy in the bottom 2, hopefully the growing number of Megan's fan will save her again. She deserves to stay for another 2 weeks in the competition as she brings a different vibe in the cpmpetition.

Catch American Idol Philippine broadcast every Wednesday and Thursday, 6PM live via satellite on Q TV and Star World and on it's regular time slot, same night, Wednesday, 8PM for Star World and QTV and on Thursday, 8:00 PM on Star World and 8:30 PM for Q.

American Idol 8, Top 10 Heating Up

Been closely following American Idol Season 8 and the competition is getting warmer every week. I haven't remember any season before this that all the best finalist rungs up the top 12, only this season. US will not only have a hard time battling with the recession but also in choosing the next American Idol.

So far, only 10 finalist remains and they all have the talent and capacity to win the plum. Out of the 10, I have 6 beats, rocker Adam Lambert, savvy Kris Allen, blue jazz Matt Giraud, corky Megan Joy, soul rhythm Anoop Desai and the red hair banger Alisson Iraheta. Okay, this is the very first time that I have 6 beats, I usually have only one and in Season 7 it was old school goofy balladeer David Archuleta.

I hate Danny Gokey, Michael Sarver and Lil Rounds, they don't offer something new on the stage and they have no star power and personality. The best weapon to stay long in the music business is this two in my opinion. Scott MacIntyre starts to bore me, he was one of my beat before during the audition but he lost his edge during the elimination round as he offers the same style and dished every week. Hope Danny Gokey will get eliminated first then Lil Rounds, then Scott.

Performance night last night singing Motown hits and I love the judges reaction to the performance of the 9 finalist. They grilled Danny Gokey, Michael Sarver and Lil Rounds, thank God, I wanted them to be eliminated early. I'm worried about Megan Joy, hopefully America would vote for her since she has a unique vibe going on for her. Other than her, my other beats have great performances kick off with Adam Lambert, the best performance of the night according to Simon Cowell, Kris Allen, who is starting to gain grounds, Matt Giraud, whom Kara describe as giving a huge challenger to the top contenders, Anoop Desai, who performed best within two weeks in a row and Allison Iraheta, whom Randy campaigned for America to vote.

American Idol is broadcast every Wednesday and Thursday, 6PM live via satellite on Q TV and Star World then on its regular time slot, same night, 8PM for Star World then 8:30 PM for Q.

American Idol 8 Top 36

Another season of the American Idol started 2 months ago and they are now down to 36 finalist battling their way to the Top 12 slot. Their have been several changes in the show and one of them is the pre qualifying round where in the top 36 contestants where divided into three groups with each group competing for top 3 slots in the final 12. After the three groups have presented, 9 finalist will emerge while a wild card night will be staged where in the top 3 wild card finalist will complete the remaining 3 slot in the top 12.

This week, the first group of 12 finalist have already presented and America have already voted to ark the first three finalist to the top 12. The finalist where Danny Gokey, Alexis Grace and Michael Sarver.

I personally like Tatiana Nicole Del Toro from San Juan Puerto Rico but she did not made it to the Top 3. It was her drama stints that turned out to be fun and hilarious, not annoying like Simon thinks captured my attention and support for her. She was a unique contestant and that made her shine among others. Hopefully she will be given a chance in the wild card so the fun continuous.

Anoop Desai was also one of my early favorites and knowing that he is 20thousand shy from the Michael Sarver, the last 3 finalist to grab the spot on the top 12, he really deserve another shoot on the wild card.

I find the elimination round this year an exciting one becuase it would gave each contestant a spotlight to showcase their talent and then judge base on that chance and it would also somehow establish fan base for the contestants as early as possible. This would help them create a more exciting top 12 finalist since it voting will definitely clash among the viewers.

Its early right now to cast my prediction as to who will win the game, last year we were all the way David Archuleta in the house but then he was a breath shy to the grand title. Maybe thats the reason also why I refuse to choose my early bet.

More of the American Idol next week as the 2nd batch clashed. Chao Folks!

American Idol Season 8

Another season of America's number one singing competition was now on going, it has been in the tube for 3 weeks and currently on the Hollywood Elimination round looking for the Top 24 contestants. I have been a big fan of this show specially during the audition legs and so far it has serve what it do best, entertain.

The set up this year I would say is a bit different, having a fourth judge really brought some new things, new comments and new views. I also believe that it made one of the judge opinion over shadowed.

Of all the contestant that made it so far on the elimination leg, I could not see any standout yet not like last year when there were already a few exceptional talents you can chide even on audition legs. So could this mean that America is running out of talented singers, maybe, being in search for music superstars for almost a decade would really mean that most of the singers have auditioned already in the past and have failed, or maybe because the best and outstanding talents did not audition this year and were preparing for the next season. Oh well, whatever it might be, I'm still be looking forward to this seasons competition and particularly be featuring events that were happening specially on the Top 12 leg.

American Idol will be brought here in the Philippines live via satellite by QTV, a sister station of GMA 7 and Star World, an Singaporean base Cable channel. QTV will air the show every Tuesday and Wednesday at 6PM with replays on 8PM same day and a run down on weekends.
