All Souls Day, Tradition!

November 2 Yearly, a very important day for Filipinos, All Souls Day, Kalag-Kalag, Araw Nang Mga Patay. Typical time for Filipino families to reunite, to pay homage and respect to our dear departed love ones.

My family usually spent this day together, Im not just talking about my mom, sister and brother but the whole clan, from the farthest places you can imagine.

We usualy starts the day as early as 7am by attending a mass then, head over to the cementery afterwards. Fun usually starts in here as relatives arrive one by one then as the cemetery swarms with people from all walks of life, a glimse also of beautiful women around and make friends given the right signs seals everything. c", My cousins usually do this except me, im the good guy hahaha.

Anyways we usually stay in the cementery till 5pm, just chatting with relatives, play card games and just about anything, then head over to my uncles house for the grand dinner party and hold a yearly caucus for plans of our upcoming grand reunion in December.

Im proud to say that this is how united we are, the whole clan which spand even up to 6 generations. Our secret was really leadership and cooperation, and as I could see, as early as our generation they already shaping somebody up who will stand as a leader of the clan, and it work very positively in us.

Truely, in unity there is strength.
