Its been awhile now that I've been using my Nokia N82, to be exact 4months, and I believe this is long enough for me to give my final verdict over it.
My general concensus, I'm very satisfied and happy with it, its like the most important and the most fruitful decesion I made so far in my entire years of existence, no regrets, no hard feelings, just pure bliss.
Part 1
The phone has an outstanding built quality and top of the line feature, best of all reasonable price. It has withstand every abuse I inflicted on it, heavy text usage, multimedia crunch from watching long hours of videos, listening to long list of songs, playing extensively to the most sophisticated 3D graphic games in the web and so forth, it has overcome them all. Purely magnificent.
The very reason why I choose N82 over the rest was its looks and form factor. I have always been a candybar enthusiast being it a sturdy solid package with no moving parts, it will surely have a longer built life, enough for me to use it for two years or more before upgrading to new device with new feature.
I love the looks of it, its masculine in black coat, attractive, stylish, perfect grip, thin and lightweight. Its uniquely designed and I like being unique myself with buttons that are well placed, start and end call button, D-Pad, specially the numeric keypad, its well spaced that gives a very comfortable texting and encoding experience.
The camera at the back brings a unique attraction as well specially the big xenon, it brings an intricate camera look to the device.
Form alone is already a winning factor of this device but i doesnt end here, the features make it perfect. The 2.4 inches 16 million color screen displays its full glory. From the menu grid, you can enjoy powerful feature such as its messaging capabiliy, phonebook set up were you can save as many information you want, the gallery with the most usefull programs, calendar where you can list the best reminders and alarm set up. The camera that gives you the best images, music application capabilites like the music player, internet radio, podcasting and music store, you wont need any other music device because all you need are here.
Video capabilities are also at its best, Real player that can play 3GP video, Flash Player with Flash Lite 3, Video Centre for internet streaming, video search and play, what more can you asked for? Other medias included, Recorder, Instant Messaging and Life Blog, anything else you need?
