Part 4
Connectivity to the internet via WIFI, 3.5G HSDPA and 3G is one of the biggest reason why I bought the magnificent Nokia N82. The thought of having a mobile computer on a phone is just awesome which would mean that I dont have to carry my laptop that much when I go out for business trip or just taking time off to sip coffee on a local coffee shop.
The phone has a Nokia Web Browser which I just recently discovered as the most useful compared to Opera Mini or Teashark due to the options menu where I can use several feature like cut, copy and paste among others, the Search browser which can stand by the way as separate to that of the main web browser.
Another good connectivity feature of the phone is Share Online where I can access online community sites like Ovi, Flickr and Vox. This sites let anybody upload pictures, videos, music, etc which they can share with your friends or anybody else on the web. Ovi in my opinion is the best among the three being owned by Nokia itself. Right now it has expanded its service not only for file sharing but for syncing among others.
Hotsites menu has a list of the best sites on the web while the Download grid will open Nokias very own sites with its own preloaded menu. Catalogs, N82 games, Mail IM, The Box, Easy Wifi, Gizmo, Sports Tracker and Widsets are the options presented and can be downloaded to owners discretion. Application folder contains Mosh, Maps Upgrade, Quotes of the Day, Routers and Weather Bug among others, all free to download depending on his/her interest.
Last but not the list the all powerful Nokia Email, the newest feature of Nokia that will sync every email addres you have then send it directly to the Nokia inbox, no sweat, all you have to do is read emails as much as you want, Ill get back and discuss more of it in my future blog.
All this and more in one powerful device.
