Nokia 5530 XpressMusic! The New Superstar Has Arrived! ~ SCRATCH e-PAD!

It was a gloomy Friday afternoon when I arrive tired in Clarin from a 3 hour trip from Zamboanga Peninsula (my work address) when my beautiful Mom greeted me with all excitement, a package arrived from London which caught me by surprise since I didn't have any acquaintances from the UK and that what I'm expecting was a package from Finland and not from anywhere else but nonetheless it was more than enough to stir frenzy and hysteria. c",

I was so thrilled that I rush in right away to the package, grab a knife and slashed my forefinger with it (clumsy me hahaha) as I struggled to open the well packed parcel, then exclaimed with delight upon knowing that it was my most awaited Nokia 5530 XpressMusic from Nokia Conversations (Thank You!) inside. It even have a surprise goodie with it, the very sleek and amazingly loud Nokia MD-8 Mini Speaker which further fire up my frantic moment.

They sent me the white version that looks amazingly gorgeous and attractive. It feels very sturdy and solid in the hand and fits perfectly well with its petite dimension and thin width, a high spec phone wrap on a small package. The back cover though is bit squeaky but other than that, I don't have anymore qualms with the hardware components as it is more than reasonable enough given the device's price point.

Turning the phone on, the homescreen heralds a new layout with useful add on components than that of the 5800 XpressMusic. The most remarkable was of course the Contacts Bar since finding my favorite people to call, email or sms is a breeze and just a stroke away. I'm confirming it here also that the touch sensitivity of the phone is way better than its elder brother and the kinetic scrolling enhances the interface taking a more positive experience overall. The speakers were loud compared to my N82 with a clear and crisp tone with no noise distortion even in full volume.

My initial impression so far is very positive and I would say that I'm more than happy and satisfied with it so far. Expect more topics about this phone in my upcoming posts as I will be stripping down its features piece by piece until it gets naked c", hahaha, I should remind myself always that this blog is Rated PG.. anyways, this well be all for now folks!
