Its final, I have already switched back to Globe Telecom via Business Plan for the past 2 weeks now, my so called best postpaid plan offering in the market at the moment, well I would like to reiterate that statement again because so far all that Globe have promised to deliver came to fruition, it was indeed a true unlimited call plan to Globe and TM subscribers, no fuss; no 5 minute cut off limit like the competitor does, no busy connection tactics, none at all, just pure connectivity. Okay, unlimited call and text can be avail by Prepaid subscribers via promotion but it needs a registration which could take ages to do and if you were lucky enough, call was hard to do rather since only a few lines were allotted to it, plus the fact that Telecom operators cut your call after 5 minutes, well, the Globe doesn’t do this with their Business Postpaid, you can freely call anytime and as many as you want.
I also like the Services they offer under the Postpaid Svcs Menu specially the Unbilled Fees where you can access your unbilled account in real time for free. You’re just a click and text away from knowing your current unbilled fees with break downs from Calls to other network, NDD and Local, Text you made, WAP, Internet and MyGlobe, how great is that! Consumers can freely monitor their usage in a daily basis eliminating doubt of false charging. Smart Telecom doesn’t have this service, what they have is a real time inquiry via the website Smart Connect without the breakdown, LAME! I’m just confused though with the WAP and Internet’s separate charge and according to the Customer Service rep, WAP charges were for Mobile website and Internet charges were for regular Web Page, huh!?! What’s the difference, they are both were internet browsing activity using myGlobe connect! I’m pretty sure the Customer Rep have no idea what she was talking about! Haha!
The plan also gives out an exclusive customer service hotline intended only for Globe Business subscribers, now how special is that! Unlike the regular postpaid or prepaid subscribers, you don’t need to wait for ages to be entertain by customer service representatives if you have queries, the hotline is readily available to answer anytime, a very huge difference as compared to Smart’s who only entertains you with jingles until you wear out, nobodies answering the phone and will put you on hold like forever.. and I mean really huge!
I’m a big fan of per day unlimited Twitter service (Globe is the very first company to offer such), nothing different actually from Smart’s except that Globe will send you confirmation message via text plus a web link. Then again to compare it with the competitor, no confirmation message and no web link especially which means customer have to exert more effort to find the unlimited page intended for the said promotion if they want to re-access the page within the 24 hour period. Telecom network have this special page for the unlimited service alone (http://globe.com.ph/twitter for Globe) and if consumer were not careful enough, they will be charge in a per minute basis if they go directly to the Twitter site (http://twitter.com) from the phones browser, a small but effective trick. Smart doesn’t provide a link so consumer will become vulnerable to committing this mistake and earn more from Internet browsing!
A good impression so far and still discovering, I never thought I would be impress by Globe again after a rough experience before, now I could say that they have evolve in a positive way, perhaps learning from their mistakes and worked it out piece by piece? BTW, Great Job Globe Pepz!
