Nokia had announced that the cheapest superphone carrying the Symbian^3 platform have been dispersed and on its way to retail stores around the globe. This is a big news for mass market buyers like me because its the perfect opportunity for us to own and experience the highly regarded Symbian^3 without hurting our pockets.
Nokia C6-01 is the most affordable phone in the Symbian^3 family and the first to be release in the market with Clear Black Display Technology, a method that reduces reflections on the screen and improve visual image quality, especially outdoors. ClearBlack ensures that the blacks you see really are just black which in turn enhances the contrast of the display and makes the whole screen much easier to see.
The phone is also a multimedia powerhouse with a video player that supports DivX/Xvid, Music Player, Stereo FM radio with RDS, WebTV, Flash 4.0 for YouTube viewing, 8MP Full Focus camera and Dual LED flash,720p high-definition video among others. Like all the recent devices, it comes with free navigation through Ovi Maps, extra apps from Ovi Store and tunes from Ovi Music.
Nokia C6-01 will be priced within PhP14,000-PhP16,000 in the Philippines and will be available in 2-3 weeks just in time for Christmas rush. I will be buying this phone if my budget will not fit for N8.
