The Nokia C7 is a stylish smartphone with a high end specification and features but does it measure to the rest of the competition camera wise? Yes, its not marketed as a camera phone but for a photo enthusiast like me, I cant help but take this specific feature to its limits.
I'm fun of casual shooting of just about anything, lets see how the phone feared with the current cameraphone king, the Nokia N8. Be the judge!
Nokia C7 Camera Specification Run Down
1. Primary Camera - 8 MP, 3264x2448 pixels, fixed focus
2. Dual-LED flash
3. Geo-tagging
4. Face Detection
5. Video - 720p@25fps, video stabilization

Night Shoots
Then again as mentioned earlier, the comparison is not appropriate because the Nokia C7 is not marketed as a cameraphone but a stylish powerhouse in the mid range arena. The main purpose of the contrast was to show what buyers can expect with the phone's camera.
The Nokia C7 is above average in casual picture taking, among the mid-range device in the market at the moment, only the Nokia C7 can give users images as good as what were taken with its wide lens angle and focal range capability. It just wasn't to good in night shoots having only a dual LED flash and close range scenarios having no autofocus in lieu of the "EDoF Full Focus", in fact the phone cannot even do macro shoots. The main advantage of the full focus, quick snap shot while the dual LED flash is great in taking night videos and can be use as a flashlight. A lot of people would prefer this features than the other, its just that I'm part of the market where photographs is a big part of my existence and passion.
Stay tuned for more Nokia C7 feature!
