Nokia's Phablet Power Duo's, The Lumia 1520 and 1320

Announce at the Nokia World 2013 Event n Abu Dhabi, Nokia heralds its first entry into the Phablet arena via the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320.

With the growing popularity of six inch screen smartphones, Nokia couldn't help but bask into the competition, but its not just about screen size for their two phablets, it also had the latest software advancements for Windows Phone. The additional screen size offers a new third column of tiles on the home screen giving people more options for customization and personalization. Pair these with the award-winning Lumia design with the most advanced camera innovations, its a win-win combination for the ever growing tech savvy consumers.

Nokia Lumia 1520

Award winning design, solid built and construction, 1080p full HD display with 367 ppi pixel density, 20MP PureView camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) as well as oversampling and zooming technology similar to the Lumia 1020, this were just among the few key features of the Nokia Lumia 1520. The HD Display gives the phone an acuminous and colorful screen display making it glorious to look at. The latest imaging iteration enables sharp images even in the dark.


The Lumia 1520 also features the new Nokia Camera and Nokia Storyteller applications, Nokia Rich Recording for an unparalleled audio capture using four built-in microphones. Microsoft Office built in for editing and sharing documents easily for maximum productivity.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 will be available in yellow, white, black and glossy red. It is expected to start shipping in Q4 2013, with an estimated price of USD749 (PHP32,500) before taxes and subsidies in Hong Kong, Singapore, U.S., China, U.K., France, Germany, Finland and other European markets, with other markets to follow.

Nokia Lumia 1320

The Lumia 1320 on the other hand features many high-end Lumia innovations on a large 6-inch 720p display and extends the Nokia Camera app to another price range. With a range of imaging apps available, the Lumia 1320 comes with Nokia Music for free streaming of ad-free music and HERE maps and location services, so people can experience the most popular Lumia experiences at a more accessible price.


The Nokia Lumia 1320 will be available in orange, yellow, white, and black and is expected to start shipping in Q1 2014 with an estimated price of USD339 (PHP14,700) before taxes and subsidies in China and Vietnam, followed by other Asian markets, India and Europe.
