Nokia N82 Firmware Update!

Here are some changes I gain with the new N82 firmware v30.0.019.

1. The battery life of the device was greatly improve, I been using the phone all day from sms, call, wifi, mp3, Divx etc and yet when I went home from work, I still have 4 bars left, pretty amazing.
2. The search menu in the front screen have 2 lines now compared to a 1 liner on the past version.
3. Browsing around the menu and icons was faster.
4. Autorotate works well, its now less sensitive which is a great.
5. My Nokia icon came out, this is an icon that will bring you directly to my nokia web page.
6. Search page now has Google, Yahoo and Msn icons to choose from.
7. Map was improve, I would say its more informative
8. Camera runs faster specially in locking objects to shoot.
9. Sound using loudspeaker was greatly improve, I could say that its more clear and crisp.
10. Sound using headphone was greatly improve also, louder than before.
11. Music player icons turns blue.
12. Youtube flash video loads fast and viewing was improve, more watchable and without the toolbar when played. Good improvement here.
13. Browsing the web is faster as well.

I'll update you people with my latest findings of this firmware update. I'm planning to test every aspect of the device soon. I will not recommend doing the firmware update on your own specially if its your first time to do so. I've read about few incidents where in the update failed and worse, it might damage your phone. The safest way is to drop by the Nokia Care Center near you and let them update the device for you.
